MTF needs a slumpbuster: Too many swings, no hits.

    GOLD!
Interesting, hadn’t heard of this concept before. I’ve got some PG debt right now, and once paid off I hope to not take any again in the future.

MTF needs a slumpbuster: Too many swings, no hits.

    GOLD!
I don't know your business, but you mentioned earlier it's PERE. So your commercial loans were collateralized by real estate though right? Outside of that, pretty difficult to get non-PG corporate debt with business under a certain size. Or have you found otherwise? Every mind-numbing...

Did I make a good decision? What does your spider sense say?

    SCALING
Sounds like a good move. Maybe would've been too broad to start out in the beginning. But you've got a process, and a team, and as long as you're confident that you can deliver results for non-agency clients, then why not. Only question mark is I'd guess is the sales process will be...

How to get through the “stuck” feeling?

    QUESTION
Same for me. I left that country with a dozen business ideas, and then chose one to act upon.

How to get through the “stuck” feeling?

    QUESTION
Get outside your routine. Go take a 2 week vacation somewhere you wouldn’t normally go to (even better if in another country). Go try something you wouldn’t normally try. Go talk to people you wouldn’t normally talk to. Guaranteed you’ll come back with some fresh material outside the...

Spent my last $100 buying a stranger TMF Book

You don’t need a CFO until your business is doing $30-50M a year in sales. You need to learn how to manage income and expenses yourself. What does this even mean? What contracts? Like company formation? Equity? Sure other people can do it. Do you have a way to compensate them for it...

Are You Quitting 3 Inches From Gold?

    MINDSET
I had to recall my entire first container of product. Had to recall another one a couple years later. These were each 6-figure hits. Could’ve quit. Didn’t. I got an MBA in “how not to manufacture shit in China”… and now I’m putting that MBA to good use. Every good business has a barrier...

Going in a niche where you know nothing?

    FEEDBACK
Yes. In one sense it can be an advantage because you will see opportunities and think of ways to do things that are outside the norm. On the other hand it will be a barrier because you don’t know the lingo, and don’t truly understand the need it is that you are trying to solve. Jump in, but...

MTF needs a slumpbuster: Too many swings, no hits.

    GOLD!
You have to show up and be in motion and work hard to reap the benefits of luck. Right timing is seeing an opportunity before others see it and capitalizing on it. Timing is of course a huge contributor to business success. But you still had to have skill and hard work to take advantage of...

    Dropshipping other brands products?

    QUESTION
If you sell to cost conscious customers, they will google. If you don't, they won't. I sell other branded products alongside my brand's. I sell a product for $199. You can buy it for $120 on Amazon. There's several other products, similar story. But my customers don't care about price...

    Introducing Myself

    INTRO
Very impressive for a kid your age. You're going to go far. Advice for the future: Starting something new is usually a lot harder than just evolving and growing what's already working for you. Having one success doesn't mean your next thing will be a success.

    Advice on funding next business

    Not sure I belong here...

    INTRO
It skews a little bit this way, but there are plenty of us that value time freedom and define success in other ways. If I could go back, I may not have gone down the road of adding employees. I'm too far down that path now to revert back, as it's easier now to push through and end is in...

This bicycle I got on Craigslist 6 years ago for $100. I ride it 2000 miles or so a year. Saves our family from owning a 2nd car and such related expenses. Keeps me in shape. Gives me fun/joy and cool experiences with the kids.
