    Monetizing on video content

    MARKETING
Here's a guy selling video lessons... it seems you buy and download the video Video Lessons And he seems to be using this Build an Online Store That's Social Commerce Ready - Wazala which supports selling digital products. Maybe not a bad concept. I found more digital stores here...

    Monetizing on video content

    MARKETING
Ahh, for a moment there i forgot about HTML5 and its embedded video player. So just add a video in your content is indeed simple... still streaming could get expensive, as with most hosting plans you need to pay for certain amount of data transfer.

All good points... Looking for a good non-youtube solution (hey, have we just uncovered a new need? :-)

    Monetizing on video content

    MARKETING
Certainly feasible. In this case, I'm not sure how to handle technical part on the cheap. If I only provide free videos on youtube and for-pay on my site, I need to stream the videos from my server, which could get expensive due to required storage and streaming bandwidth. So what i'd need...

    Monetizing on video content

    MARKETING
Indeed... that's why free model + ads + donations might work better. It could be a simple "buy me a beer" button for paypal donation. it seems to work for this guy: KenRockwell.com: Photography, Cameras and Taking Better Pictures

    Monetizing on video content

    MARKETING
Alana, you have valid points, but I'm beyond those. But just to satisfy your curiosity: - I'm not the only one with the skills, but there really are just a few people on my level - I'm in a rare position that puts me in the spotlight, and I intend to leverage that. I'm not joe-smoe, I'm actually...

    Monetizing on video content

    MARKETING
I'm working on some video content I'm going to publish and I'm thinking of ways to monetize on it. (I'm doing it for other reasons and monetizing would be just a bonus). Content wise i'm working on video tutorial with exercises. It's a niche market and I'm one of the few with some experience in...

Was I a target of a scam attempt?

    INVESTING
Oh, the guy was good. Had he been selling whatever kind of real product, I have no doubt people would buy from him. He was actually able to frame the discussion in a way that made $70k almost sound "reasonably small amount". AND he was very good at trying to close the sale in the single call...

Was I a target of a scam attempt?

    INVESTING
A while ago I received a call from "investment company in Hong Kong" and was asked a few questions which I answered more or less truthfully (there was no real disclosure, they were the most interested if I am willing to invest). So yesterday I got another call, supposedly from "Stock Bridge...

France - 75% tax for high earners!

    HOT! TAXES | REGS
This is basically legalised theft and goes agains the right for private possession etc. But I fail to see reasoning for such taxations. I mean, ok, it's easy to sell to Joe Average (yeah, we'll get the money from those loaded fat pigs). But really... if you have millions you know how to...

    Networking in the Bay Area

Hi Everyone, I'm going to be in the San Francisco Bay Area and I'll have some time to network on October 5th and 6th. We could for example discuss how to expand your business to Europe. I can also help in B2B business development and provide insight on how to manage software projects so they...

From eco snail farm to eco snail brand - My plan (progress thread)

    EXECUTION
"A little high" is a bit modest I would say. It's batshit crazy. If you want to have a good laugh, look at this farm which they are trying to sell for $500.000. And there are more examples like that. For example, a studio from 1968 for $90.000 And just to have a full picture, the average net...

From eco snail farm to eco snail brand - My plan (progress thread)

    EXECUTION
Ah, our upside down real-estate market... That's why I rent the apartment as well. Way cheaper than buying at the moment.

    EXECUTION
It might be cheaper to buy land on the long run. But as we know in our homeland you need a farmer status to actually buy land. As far as I've heard you can go through training and get certificated at Biotehniški Center Naklo.

    Things to flip? Brainstorm

I guess the key thing is finding sellers who don't know how much the market really values a particular item?

Registering a business in the US for non US residents/citizens

I'll expand the question a bit with these points: Why incorporate in Delaware? -More than 58% of Fortune 500 companies incorporate in Delaware. -A US Delaware corporation or LLC can be headquartered anywhere in the world (you don't have to have a US office). -Your name and address is not made...
