    Scaling business

I'm just simplifying things. In reality, people would keep using the software since a business software, and it would be hard for them to move to another provider Existing business that is only break even.

    Scaling business

Thanks. That's very helpful. How about if we are not able to take a loan and need to use our own money. So after two years, from $1,000,000 you will get 1,500,000 or 50% return in 2 years, or 25% return yearly. But that's only number, and the reality is on the first year, you won't break even...

    Scaling business

Assume you are spending $1000 for marketing and will get the business payment $750 at the end of first year and another $750 at the end of second year. Assume no competition. Is this a good business. My concern is the cashflow, because I'm spending money and get it back in 2 years

    Scaling business

If I have a business that need $1k and can get $750 and the end of first year and another $750 at the end of the second year. The business is scalable. You only get your initial investment after 2 years. Would this be a good business? Would you take a loan for this kind of business?

Share your thought of become a freelancer and small business owner

I've done freelancing then hire some people to help. I guess the hard part is you need to have other skillful people to help. If they are skillful then they can just do freelancing on their own. Just need to save money and invest on it. What's your startup about?
