EXECUTION Breaking news: Colorado man pursues web design

Thank you. I totally agree, progress is much slower than it needs to be. I will be addressing that moving forward. Always happy to get a reality check Thank you. Interesting observation about the Youtube vids - I've toyed with the idea before, perhaps something to explore further or implement...

EXECUTION Breaking news: Colorado man pursues web design

So I'm really disappointed in myself. I had been clean for almost a year, but recently made a hasty decision to pay my dealer a visit. I don't know what came over me, I just needed that fix. What followed was a binge of relapses the likes of which you've never seen. I was dejected, I had lost...

    MEETUPS Colorado/Denver Lunch Meeting

Would there be any chance to meet a bit earlier, say 12:00? Would love to come meet everyone, but if earlier doesn't work, no worries at all!

EXECUTION Breaking news: Colorado man pursues web design

@PizzaOnTheRoof Thank you @Xavier X Haha a local man indeed. Regarding Guatemala - it is stunning, cheap, has great Spanish schools, and I know people living there. The biggest motivating factor would be to attend Spanish school for a couple months - you can get 1 on 1 tutoring for 5 days a...

EXECUTION Breaking news: Colorado man pursues web design

This just in: Colorado man succumbs to the web design pandemic that appears to be gripping the community. When asked about the origin of this act of rational optimism, the man responded "Daddy gotta stack that cheddar yo". Powerful words indeed. Hi. This is my web design execution thread. I'm...

GOLD! How to Learn Code, Start a Web Company, $15k+ per month within 9 months

I've found this to be the best HTML book: HTML and CSS: Design and Build Websites: Jon Duckett: 8601200464207: Amazon.com: Books. Html is rather easy and the skills can be acquired in a day or two, but learning css in conjunction is always a good idea, and this book is absolutely beautiful and...

EXECUTION F*ck it, i'm learning to code

Duuude this advice is fantastic. This was me for my first several years of coding. Obviously working as a developer helped, but the most effective way of learning to code is trying to build something, then reading up and seeing how you can do it better. Then build, build, build.

GOLD! How to Learn Code, Start a Web Company, $15k+ per month within 9 months

Very curious about this as well. Saw you getting started from scratch again in Mexico - how did that end up going?

GOLD! Moved to Scottsdale, Growing a Web Design Firm

If you don't mind me asking - around what % of the budget did you pay him? No worries at all if you'd rather not say, I'm just curious, because as someone who is capable of doing this advanced work, I'm trying to decide whether or not it's worth it to outsource. My guess is that it's worth it...

WEB SCHOOL Fox's 2019 Make $100k Starting Web Design from Scratch Challenge

How do you typically go about handling contact forms? I like the thought of skipping Wordpress, but the lack of an effective free way to handle forms makes me want to potentially reconsider. Other options I've considered are Formspree which seems solid, but would necessitate a monthly fee and...

WEB SCHOOL Fox's 2019 Make $100k Starting Web Design from Scratch Challenge

Awesome, thanks man. I've been hemorrhaging your posts / content and @GuitarManDan's thread for the past 24 hours and am very impressed. I keep seeing references to your Facebook group but am unable to find it - can you point me in the right direction there? Also curious about the school, I've...

WEB SCHOOL Fox's 2019 Make $100k Starting Web Design from Scratch Challenge

Hey man, love this thread and these videos, keep up the amazing work. I'm a little confused by the youtube channel, are the videos sequential? Trying to resume where this thread left off. Anyways, on to the true question, and my apologies if you've answered before - do you run into hiccups when...

    Real Estate investing in Colorado?

Thank you for the response! I'm definitely not opposed to the duplex FHA - I think this would be ideal if it could generate positive cash flow. Problem is, that for a, say 500k duplex with FHA, I believe that you're looking at around $2000 / month mortgage including insurance (just based upon...

    Real Estate investing in Colorado?

Hello! Over the past year I've been trying to implement some of the strategies I've encountered in TMF and Unscripted. I'm currently working on a business that I'm pretty happy with, whilst working my decent paying job as a software developer. I'm approaching the point where I'd like to start...

INTRO Developer from Colorado - hello!

You're absolutely right, I was thinking that the business that I had mentioned could have work that is able to be outsourced, but then sourcing and dealing with employees sounds like a logistical nightmare. I was enticed by the allure of the low barrier to entry. I think that the software as a...

INTRO Developer from Colorado - hello!

Very good points, thank you for the input. I feel like the plight of the beginner is to jump ahead as I’ve done here, always helpful to be reminded to take it one step at a time.

    GOLD! I've Read UNSCRIPTED!

I read Unscripted recently as well. I really enjoyed both it and TMF. I did, however, think that the first half of Unscripted was tough to get through. I found myself not enjoying this part as much and craving the actionable and informative latter chapters. Fantastic book nonetheless, buying...
