OFF-TOPIC Does anyone else find social media boring?

I love this! I agree social media can be so useful if it is for a purpose but so many people don't approach it from that angle. You make a really excellent point. Also, hello fellow Aussie! :)

OFF-TOPIC Does anyone else find social media boring?

Ahhh, this is exactly what I was thinking but I thought you were suggesting it as an alternative to Insta/FB or something.

Billionaire Dreams: What Makes You Happy?

Oh wow this is a big one. I want to rest, really rest and feel rejuvinated. Spend my time exploring what life is all about. Engaging in the arts, like singing, producing music or acting. Meet as many interesting people as possible and forming meaningful relationships with others that I...

O/T: HEALTH Pains ? Health struggles ? Ask a Surgeon anything

Oh wow! What an interesting post! Can't wait to read this. I do have a question. Are there any groundbreaking new/unheard of treatments for fibro myalgia in Europe that you know of? Other than the common ones such as medications like lyrics, PRP, massage therapy, anesthetic injections, burning...

OFF-TOPIC Does anyone else find social media boring?

I have been meaning to set up a LinkedIn account, but I just hate social media so much I never looked into it in great detail. How would you recommend finding interesting groups to join via Slack or Telegram for initiating discussions? I've only ever used Slack for work and Telegram for...

I hated the book " The 4 Hour Work Week". Yea, I said it.

Ahh, awesome to see there is another person from the music industry here! Absolutely, the shelf life of a song release is getting shorter and shorter every year.

I hated the book " The 4 Hour Work Week". Yea, I said it.

I found the tone of the way the book was written to be quite arrogant and self serving... however I kind of enjoyed that as I found it amusing. But I wouldn't say I gained that much from it. It was a good read, from a narrative perspective. Nothing was particularly unique or "new". He just...

OFF-TOPIC Does anyone else find social media boring?

Yeah, you're probably right with this point here. I guess a larger issue here in that there is no clearly defined "doing it right" in life anymore... so that is why validation is sought. Entrepreneurs embrace this aspect of modern day life whereas the majority of others find it confronting...

OFF-TOPIC Does anyone else find social media boring?

I've never experienced this so called "dopamine" effect. I find constant notifications and ding ding dings endlessly frustrating. Also people saying "how can I keep in contact with you without social media?" ... uhhh. Talk to me??!?! Remember that..... thing??!?! Maybe everyone has really low...

OFF-TOPIC Does anyone else find social media boring?

Yeah, maybe? I just don't see why I should spend my time posting images or words about myself for no purpose other than for people to like it or provide an unnecessary comment. It's the ultimate waste of time. Give me a specific topic to discuss and that's fun and interesting. Instagram is the...

Significant Change to Upwork coming in May 2019... “Pay to Bid”

I actually love using Upwork to find freelancers to hire. Actually just hired 2 this morning... I will admit you do have to sort through the candidates pretty carefully to make sure they're actually able to complete the task they claim to be able to. However I have never tried looking for work...

Lots of new faces here since I was active. What's your why?

Personally, I want to pursue the arts and it generates little to no money for time invested. Having passive income will allow me to receive an income, and enough free time to spend my hours actually doing what I care about. How I make money don't really matter to me just so long as I have it...

The 5am Club - Worth it?

^this  Anyway, I have a friend who told me all the benefits he had experience since starting to wake up at 5am so I decided to give it a shot. At first I thought it would make no difference. There are only 24 hours in a day, right? So what's the difference between doing work before...

OFF-TOPIC Does anyone else find social media boring?

I don't mean as a business/marketing tool. For that I can understand its use. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who doesn't care about social media. I'm in my late 20s. Anyone have any comments or thoughts on this?

From reading through a lot of your responses it seems you find it difficult to weigh up pros and cons associated with situations. No outcome is going to be 100% risk free. You need to objectively make lists that give you pros and cons of each option. Then make a decision and not look back. No...

What is your favorite Landing Page Builder?

I've used Lead pages (also found it restrictive feature wise) and Clickfunnels (significantly more confusing to use but offers more customizability). I'm using Thrive builder and Elementor for WordPress at the moment and not only are they cheaper but more feature heavy.

Running blogs, ranking pages via SEO

Thanks for providing such a detailed response. Honestly as a newbie it's pretty confusing because there's so much conflicting information and one course will say one thing and another will say something different. The one thing everyone can agree on is quality of content, I guess also the...

Yeah that's no good :( I'm -just- on minimum wage in Australia now but I regret NOTHING. Hope you have the opportunity to get out of your job soon.
