I've thought about creating a website/Youtube channel with honest reviews. Google is filled with affiliate websites with thin content and no actual reviews, spammed with affiliate links. There is a market for real reviews with no sponsors, affiliate links etc.
It would be hard to earn money...
Reading MFT's recent post in this thread, he reconnected with some of the Michael Singer stuff. His study of Singers work was very intense (150 pages of notes). Diving into the discomfort stuff, maybe it was a needed break for him. Now it looks like he reconnected with the stuff he could use...
If you don't follow Pieter Levels, I can recommend it. He is a 'maker', creating online projects/businesses, and he's really transparent about his projects, earnings (millions of dollars each year) etc. He's created nomadlist.com and remoteok.com to name af few.
His latest project is...
I just learned that 99% of the world's padel courts are in South America or Europe. I'd bet there is HUGE opportunity for the right entrepreneur in the US to grow this.
The first result on Google tells me it's around 27-33k USD for a padel court. It's probably cheaper if you buy enough of them...
Me and my wife have actually been a lot more at the cinema in the last six months than ever before. Although, we often go when there aren't many other around. I love watching movies there instead of wathcing them at home. If it weren't for the relative high price, we'd go more often than now.
I really think the option to just Google things has made it worse for young people.
I can feel it myself. Don't need to remember anything either.
Don't know how to fix a flat tire on my bike? I'll Google it.
Don't know how to make a specific dish? Google.
Can't remember how I did something...
If you want a fun and easy-to-learn sport, I can recommend padel tennis. Just tried it for the first time with a couple of friends, and it was a really fun.
It's easy to learn, you'll pick up the roules in 5-10 minutes of playing, and (almost) everyone can play it. It's much easier to get going...
You do you. It's a guru-ish title, I'll give you that.
But I find Pieter very interesting and inspirational.
No guru bs imo. He's build a handful of websites making him a few millions per year, without raising any capital.
He's a solopreneur, only working with a few contractors.
He's...
Got a little feeling of what you're having in the US from time to time.
Mass shooting in Copenhagen, close to where I live.
The police just confirmed that there are multiple dead people. Saying so far they have arrested a 22 year old white dude.
Shits feeling surreal.
Kai has a pretty cool story. Coming from Denmark, he went to Australia three weeks after he turned 20 to visit his uncle, who moved there a few years earlier.
He arrived in Sydney at 6 AM with $72 in his pocket, and at noon he had already used half of the money on transportation and such - but...
What do you think about videos, where people help homeless persons? I see a lot of hate on those guys saying "you only did it for the video" and "why do you need to record that?".
I've mixed feelings. On one hand I actually feel good about watching the content, it makes me smile, and inspires...
Just came across this..
Shower thought dude is feeling the hate from the anti workers

Damn you have to be insecure about your own masculinity and character, if you have to hate on people, who don't dress up like the rest of the crowd. How the F*ck is it your problem, if a guy is wearing high heels and a dress? The 1800's have called, they want their opinions back.
