If I want to buy something, I first search on google. I'm much more likely to buy from a site i see listed on the first page (the only thing i like about amazon is kindle)
I still don't get why people say SEO is dead.
EDIT: I *have* bought things advertised by people i follow...
Holy shit. I've been thinking this for so long, just never really been able to articulate it.
Personality defects exist in the rich as well. I guess money can get to your head. I know you can't generalise, but here it is.
The reason I know this is because I see this in my patients I come...
Welcome to the forum :)
I'm around the same age as you, and feel kinda in the same 'rut'. It's not that I don't like what I do, but I feel life has more to offer.
You're lucky you were born into a entrepreneurial family. I have NO entrepreneurs around me (in real life), so just...
How do I run a like campaign?
Fortunately, I have emails based on the abandoned check outs. Do you mean I should start building an email database and market to the same ppl even if I'm selling something entirely different later on?
EDIT: I actually listed one of the items on a free...
But like MJ warned, there are a lot of 'studies' that want to keep us in the slowlane.
Like ppl who push the "YOU NEED A COLLEGE EDUCATION" thing to keep you indebted to the government.
Not sure if this could be one of those.
Do you think facebook shops look less reliable / trustworthy in general?
I remember reading a thread where there was someone who started off selling t-shirts off facebook, and it did well.
I guess I put my current products in a similar category- impulse, 'whatever-just-for-a-laugh' buy category.
But I also think my prices are reasonable. I mean, I'm not trying to sell a cheap china product at Neiman Marcus price :p
I think there's a market for cheap stuff, though, as some definitely appreciate a bargain. That's why I don't want to open a proper store to sell what i'm selling...
I dunno man. Quite a while ago, maybe 8 years or so ago, I heard the (in)famous claim that if you make over a certain amount of money (~USD 12k a month), more money doesn't make you happier.
I make more than that, but then again I've never been a millionaire, so I can't compare.
I feel, due...
Less than two weeks (supposedly).
I've deliberately chosen from sellers who offer multiple shipping options, as time is more sensitive the closer to halloween it is, wouldn't want anyone who receives their product after halloween :/ I'd do the right thing and refund if it did.
Thanks a lot :)
Please share if possible- dunno if I'm asking for too much here.
But if I manage to get sales, I'll post ALL the stats on here, e.g. what ads i used, how much i spent, revenue, other insights etc.
What I find annoying, is that it only shows ones line of my collections at the...
So this is my very first 'entrepreneurship' venture. And certainly not my last.
I decided to go the 'low cost' route, and open a small shop via shopify lite.
This took me way longer than it looks, primarily because I have zero experience in this, and even the shopify thing was a pain and...
How did you start off? What was your first venture like?
What struggles did you have, and what would you have done differently if you had known?
What, in your opinion, was the crucial step that effectively launched you into the fastlane?
Entrepreneurship can be a real struggle, it'd...
All this applies to me as well. Except I don't have any 'quotas' or 'performance level' I really need to achieve.
Oh, and add in the unsocialble hours.. which I'm dying from as I type this message.. only three hours of sleep last night.
*Do not* use shopify lite to sell on facebook
Shopify and facebook just weren't meant to be merged together.
All this hassle with the accounts connecting, self-disconnecting
Things not showing up
'Not allowed' for some bizarre reason
Not showing up in the right order
Difficulty sharing products...
