Heyyyyyo fastlane fam.
It’s been a while, so I thought I would give ya’ll an update on what’s happening as well as a bit of insight/advice I would tell myself from 6 months ago.
Signed on 2 new clients at $2500 pm, so that’s another $5k pm profit. Not crazy growth, but it’s cool...
You've got a unique angle with that as well -> higher CRO = higher ROAS without changing one thing on your ads.
+ you've got a higher barrier to entry because Shopify is a pain in the a$$ to make highly converting.
Use this as an upsell or a last ditch effort if you don't think you'll close...
Quick Question, have you thought about changing up your service offering?
I know a tonne of people doing FB ads (me included) and it's getting more and more saturated every day (Doesn't mean you can't make money, just makes it more competitive).
Very few people are doing email marketing...
You’ve really piqued my interest as I used to be a full time videographer, and I’ve managed a couple YouTube channels myself, so I know the effort that goes into keeping one going!
Another thing that’s fascinating is the thought of YouTube automation. There are a lot of guys selling this as a...
Damn good read,
You're making in a month what I'm projected to make in a year with my agency, and it's exciting to see someone young going after it!
What were your initial investments to get brand #1 up and running, and are you having the products manufactured and fulfilled by a 3pl?
Why not focus on the ecom business?
My only reason for not launching my own brand is the pain in the a$$ payment gateways that kill conversions and trust (Stripe isn't available here).
I'm going to launch an ecom brand as soon as I can, more scaleable.
Sounds like you just had the 'aha' moment.
Nothing started clicking for me until I had my back against the wall and saw $35 on my bank statement, which I now have as my wallpaper as a reminder.
Something magical happens when your back is against the wall.
It sounds like you have three months...
Yeah, that's what I'm testing at the moment :)
Testing being the key word.
My thought process is, if you send a normal cold email they might just book in a call.
If you ask if they want an audit, they aren't going to book in a call without seeing the audit.
Snatch up the easy W's and then...
Agree with this. My strat has changed to a similar tone, where I now send personalized cold emails and then only audit those who open the emails.
Saves a lot of time with dead leads.
I personally don't like asking if they want an audit just because there's more of a "wow" factor if they...
Glad to see the progress and that you're sticking to it :)
Don't feel guilty about taking time off, you need to else you're going to burn yourself out.
Lil tip - Try get the app "Focus" (It's a mac app, but I'm sure there are alternatives) and set it up to block any distracting apps in...
Kid, I can't thank you enough.
Even though this comment has left me with a couple of sleepless nights, it's also led to a notebook full of ideas and my curiosity sparked.
I've learnt to not comment/elaborate until I've actually taken action against it, but this definitely didn't go unnoticed.
I vet my clients pretty thoroughly.
You're correct that there's a lot I don't have control over, but that doesn't mean I can't influence it.
I try to help my clients in every way I can to lead to mutual success.
Plus with this particular client their ad account was in shambles, while they...
I feel honoured to be tagged gold.
I honestly don't think my life would be on this trajectory if I didn't pick up TMF when I did, thank you MJ!
I've learnt so much from this forum and every gold thread I've read, and it's crazy to see it next to my thread.
So I've changed the way I'm going to update this.
Instead of me ranting and raving like a lunatic, I'm going to try dropping what I think are lil golden nuggets as I find them and summaries of my work.
I'll show you what hit a home run for me, and what was an absolute dud.
Basically going to...
