EXECUTION From Getting By to "Oh My!"

I'm actually having a good day aside from this 2-hour meeting I'm in. One of my clients loves meetings for some reason. We can just agree to disagree its all good

EXECUTION From Getting By to "Oh My!"

Whatever u say bro. It just looks like another one of these wantrepreneur feel-good pages to me. Someone has to do it I guess. Also, some of your posts preach slow lane stuff like the generic "how to invest 1k", etc. It's just regurgitated quotes from other people who are already famous. Like...

EXECUTION From Getting By to "Oh My!"

Your not posting anything new/unique though ( from an objective look ). I get you are just giving them what they want but I'm not sure how far that can go, and if there is any fulfillment in that. Dont mean to be offensive, I'm an engineer by trade and just have a straightforward approach to things.

EXECUTION From Getting By to "Oh My!"

Idk man one of my mental blocks is creating a business that actually helps people. I could never live with myself being one of these cringe gurus that basically is an idol for poor sheep.

EXECUTION From Getting By to "Oh My!"

so you're making money by teaching people how to make money? I never got how people like this can actually be taken seriously. Not trying to hate it just literally makes no sense to me and is kind of cringe.

Making ~400k/year freelancing as a ios developer. How to take myself out of the programmer seat and into the business owner seat?

Unfortunately, there is no way to standardize what I do, since it's all tailored to client needs. I definitely agree that the work is the bottle neck here, as hiring is something that I feel I am good at.

Making ~400k/year freelancing as a ios developer. How to take myself out of the programmer seat and into the business owner seat?

Hey Tiago, Thanks for the response. Cash is something I hold very high on the priority list, as I want to reach a 7 figure income that is relatively stable / antifragile in the next 9 years. I would like time freedom in the sense that I work a lot (12 hour days are ok) but I can do it when I...

Making ~400k/year freelancing as a ios developer. How to take myself out of the programmer seat and into the business owner seat?

Thanks for this. I really like this idea as it could serve as an intermediary step between the contractor to business owner step. I am seriously going to consider this.... Thank you!

INTRO How a broke 20 year old college dropout started making 6 figures a year with code ( and you can too )

Sure so I wake up around 5:30 AM my time, to get on a call with offshore developers around 6. I work till about 7-8 pm. I have lunch / dinner / workout breaks in there. Time depends on which contract needs more attention. The way sprints work, the work is assigned up front. I try to get as much...

Making ~400k/year freelancing as a ios developer. How to take myself out of the programmer seat and into the business owner seat?

Hey Kasimir! Thanks a bunch for your response. I am a big fan of remote, and want to keep it that way. I guess there is no magic bullet, seeing that you must manage the first employee and have them be a net negative contributor in the beginning.

Making ~400k/year freelancing as a ios developer. How to take myself out of the programmer seat and into the business owner seat?

Hey Alex, Thanks so much for your response! To Clarify: I am trying to take my "one man" dev shop that is based on my name / experience, and transform it into a company dev shop that is based on projects. I currently contract within teams, my goal is to sell the team and help with all aspects...

I will do a PhD for the next four years and this is my plan. Do you think I can do anything else?

Hey Ezra, Im a 21 year old programmer who is taking the freelance route, but interested in AI / crypto. From what Ive seen if you are trying to position yourself for optimal success after school, it would be wise to contribute to open source projects you are interested in / build up your...

INTRO After Spending Four Years to Become an Aerospace Engineer - I'm Leaving

Hey Jschoob27, An engineer that can build and sell? If you have seen "how to get rich without getting lucky" by naval you would be described as "unstoppable". My question for you is: Is there anyway to leverage your training / love for physics and space. These fields are not very potent with...

Making ~400k/year freelancing as a ios developer. How to take myself out of the programmer seat and into the business owner seat?

Hey guys, I've made a few posts already here about what I'm doing to earn this much as a mobile iOS developer. I essentially work multiple remote contracts and work around the clock. While this level of income is good, I wanted to get some advice on how to grow more and go from developer to...

on the Road to 100k as a software developer, 5 red flags to watch out for with startups

I recently spoke with the CEO of a decently early-stage startup. He had people on his advisory board and people in his team with interesting backgrounds. One was even one of the higher-ups at Disney. He was an author who I assumed was decently accomplished, he wasn’t starving but he wasn’t JK...

Exactly how I (anualized) am on track to make 300k-400k a year with software development (and you can too)

Went from normal job to job and contracts to just contracts. Yes, it is exactly the specialized Skill you described in that video. I am working towards getting more contracts so I can hire out the work, creating my specialized unit. "Hire out the work" in my case is not a step you can just jump...

Exactly how I (anualized) am on track to make 300k-400k a year with software development (and you can too)

At least in my industry / niche, w2 usually means all equipment is paid for but I agree. 1099 is the way to go for expenses.

For me its really that first bit about my thoughts about money in general. I also think to avoid burn out a big part of that is continually growing which you can use all of your money to invest and grow.
