Awesome intro and thanks for sharing part of your strategy.

Great to have ya Steve.

Question... is the wife on board with your entrepreneurial divergence?
Hello Mr. DeMarco, sorry for interrupting. I just have a question, and I would love you to answer it. Why do you tell us the real TRUTH about wealth? Why cant you just lie to us so you can earn more money? Why did you choose to help us instead? It is up to you if you want to answer. Thanks for reading.

Because I remember struggling as a 20 year old and being taken advantage of by every "guru" who claimed to be rich and financially successful. If you're so wealthy, then why the $1,999 seminar and the $5,999 coaching program? Can't I just buy your book for ten bucks, and if I get nothing out of it, I won't need to file bankruptcy a month later?

That said, I was looking at a podcast question list for one of my upcoming interviews, and one of the questions was, "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?" It was a question I couldn't answer because I was already there at my 5 and 10 year vision.

I live exactly how I want to live, where I want, how I want, etc.

There is no future year vision because it is already my reality. The only thing I would change are things I can't directly control -- it would be nice if more people would read my work and learn how to escape this shitty 5-for-2, wait for fifty-years existence everyone has been sold into. But then again, most people love their slavery in exchange for some mindnumbing game on their smartphone and a dumb Sunday football game that has ZERO impact on their life, other than to distract them from their mundane existence.

Mr. DeMarco, Thank you for answering my question! I thought you wouldnt! Btw

I have some more questions if you dont mind. What do you think about bitcoin? As I see with my own eyes, only the "big boys" earn big money on it and keep it, like Elon Musk. In fact, he earned more in bitcoin then he did in his whole Tesla company. Is bitcoin fastlane?

And my second question. If you have the REAL truth about wealth, why are you not a billionaire. Thank you for taking your time, sir.

I know the questions aren’t directed at me but your reply was so disrespectful I feel compelled to say something.

In his reply to your op (that’s right, the best selling author and multimillionnaire’s personal reply to you), MJ told you he has the life he always dreamed of. Use your brain. What difference would a few extra zeros on his bank balance mean if he already has everything he wants?

regarding Bitcoin… in all three of his books, MJ teaches wealth through business systems and money systems. Bitcoin is neither, unless you are building a Bitcoin related business, which I know isn’t what you meant. MJs books do not teach how to get rich playing poker, trading forex, buying Bitcoin or becoming a professional athlete.
And what difference does it make? If MJ says buy Bitcoin are you going to buy it?

I think telling the truth made him even more unique which has probably made him more money than if he was like Dan Lok and people of that ilk.

why are you not a billionaire.

Clearly you didn't understand my response.

This is why I usually ignore (or delete) these types of questions.

I already regret answering.

And BTW I am a billionaire and have been for awhile, assuming you measure by US pennies, the smallest nomimal measurement of currency.

What do you think about bitcoin?

After taking time out of my day to answer your first question, I think I'll pass on your next round of questions.

MJ told you he has the life he always dreamed of. Use your brain. What difference would a few extra zeros on his bank balance mean if he already has everything he wants?

Thank you my friend.

It truly is hard for people to understand. In a conversation I recently had, I mentioned that I could win several million dollars in the lottery and nothing in my life would change.

Is up to you to appreciate it and find your way around the world of sheeps!!! Thank you for the value and the key to the world..

Why get upset? I don’t understand, he has the right to ask a question, you guys have the right to respond and not respond. I doubt his intentions are to “insult” rather to be real. Yea I get he used the words “wealth” with “billionare“ which gives off an immature vibe, but I don’t think letting him know is even productive for everyone’s sake lol.

I believe the first question was asked as such as to put you in a positive light@MJ DeMarco and your absolutely helpful personality. I felt he paid his respects and then thanked you for the response, and then of course felt comfortable to ask a more colorful question let’s say haha. All in good spirits is what I wish to convey.

In a conversation I recently had, I mentioned that I could win several million dollars in the lottery and nothing in my life would change.

That plus owning your time AND remaining fairly low-profile makes you truly one of the most successful people in the world.

I'm not quite at the "lottery" level just yet. But even with way less zeroes than you, I still feel very wealthy.

It's kind of surreal what taking part in an online community can do for you. It all started with a pirated copy of TFM when I was 17. I am now closing in on 24.

I just realized I still haven't actually given you any money which isn't fair considering what I've got out of your creations. Time to make a few gifts for some of my friends. Gifts that might just lead to the most life-changing event in their lives.

In fact, I can't help but wonder how many forum members owe you their houses, wives, kids...

Because he followed it up with a dumb question and then a condescending question.

It’s like asking Michael Jordan a question about his career which he graciously answers and then following it up with a question like, can you teach me how to shoot 3 pt jumpers? And then saying, if you’re so good at shooting 3 pointers why don’t you have more championships?

Perhaps it really is a 14-year old that wrote this. Or perhaps he's a bit older and just read TFM and joined the forum to engage in some form of conversation.

Honestly, his thought process could have come from "Wow, MJ is so smart and capable, he could be a billionaire. Hmm, I wonder why he's not? Maybe there's something out of his control that prevents him from getting there in spite of his brilliance and superior money-making abilities?"

It's still a misguided and immature thought process obviously. But if the dude is 17, can you blame him?

I don't think his questions were intentionally offensive. And I can empathize with that as I asked some really ignorant and offensive questions when I first joined here as well.

Everytime people see his book. They always tell me that he is a guru, just like the other business books. I try to convince. But then they ask me "Then why isnt he a billionaire?"

Then I have nothing to say. Thats why I asked him.

Well, now you know, right? Time is the most precious commodity, and once you reach a certain level of wealth, owning your time and doing what you want takes precedence over furthering the number of zeroes you have in the bank!

P.S. Don't try to convince anyone about the book, MJ, or the forum. I've told many people, and I've put a lot of effort into ensuring a few of my friends read the book. They still haven't. Even though they see me as successful and I've given credit where it's due. However, for one of my friends, all it took was mentioning it and it was a done deal. He read it right away and is now doing great as well.

Thats pretty logical, but the thing is...

A quote said "The more you have, The more you want". Then it makes no sense. There is nothing called "enough money". People always want more. It feels like that we dont see the full picture here, to be honest.

That's just what poor people say to convince themselves not to try. But yes, that's called greed.

I'd suggest you stop quoting others and start thinking for yourself. There IS "enough money" and no, people do not always want more. It's not as black and white as you perceive it to be.

If your OP had included this context, most people wouldn't have got offended by your question and thought you were an insensitive idiot.
Hello people.

I was wondering if you have any experience with business. I really want to learn. For example:

How do you advertise a product?
Should you borrow money to start a company?
But then you start this thread...

They always tell me that he is a guru,

Next time someone claims I'm "just another guru", ask them to send you a link to my advanced training courses: You know, the $4,999 coaching program, or the $10,000 weekend seminar, or my one-on-one mentorship program which I sell for the low low price of $14,999.

Insist that they search for those big ticket upsells and when they can't find them, ask them why they *think* they couldn't find them.

Time is priceless and I wouldn't swap my life for a billion pounds (I'm British). One day you might realise that beyond a certain point more money is just a number. Having more of something that you have enough of doesn't improve your life; it won't buy you more time or pleasure (although wealthy people do live longer). Money brings you choices and freedom unless you become a slave to it. A billionaire who spends all their time trying to earn more money is still a slave to money and hasn't escaped the rat race.

This task is definitely important because if we fail to free millions of people, some countries might cease to exist. Living in a first-world country some people might believe that they can have a mundane job and live comfortably. The problem is that comfort is just an illusion. Every second it is possible that a country with nuclear weapons attacks your country and then the people lose everything.

MJ, I am optimistic that people like you can control education as well. So would you like to become a political leader of your country and to write history?

Mr. Demarco

How did you create this website? Did you use visual studio code to do it? And what programming language did you use as well?

This thread is a classic tale of “one too many”.

When you ask a favor/question of someone it’s best to know when to bow out - by going back for seconds and then thirds you are just putting yourself in the “value taker” box.

Good approach:
- Ask question
- Get response
- Thank them and if it’s actionable advice put it into action
- Come back later and show them it helped you get results and thank them again
- And/or do them something that improves their life or business in some way to over return the favor

The wrong way:
- ask one question
- get response
- ask another
- get response (maybe)
- ask another
- probably have burned the connection by now
- try asking even more questions
- now you’re on the ignore list

I’d really work on this - if you are doing it on these forums you are probably doing it with lots of other great possible connections too.

It’s also the “take take take” vs “give” philosophy. Too bad. Reputation is hard to earn and yet so easy to lose.
