Whatsup fellow entrepreneurs and a$$-kickers.

I am Juhani Erdius. This is my first post around here, actually this might be one of the first time I doing this. I am an 18 year old aspiring entrepreneur, and an international college student from Vietnam currently living in US. I has always been interested in self-actualization and fulfill the best of my capability as much as possible.

I has many goals for this year. Hence, currently my numero uno goal is actually be financial successful earlier as well as actualizing my potential; my aim from now to at least end of July is hitting my first millions dollars from entrepreneurship as well as earning a citizenship in US before I turn 19 in July 2021.

I took a bet with my fate & decided to go with my gut instincts, I dropped out this college quarter, got my refund for $3500 and currently saving for this journey.

All chips are seemingly stacked against me since I can easily be deported from US or got into legal issues for not having enough eligibility & a valid visa (my current visa is F-1) to work or doing business here; and I could fail miserably.

This is seemingly ridiculous and hasty as F*ck; but nonetheless I decided to took a full leap of faith and go 100% on this venture. I am on my own game now.

This thread is meant to be created with purposes of:

- Motivate me to keep kicking a$$ and stay as convicted as possible (since I had trouble with keeping myself aligned and disciplined in the past).
- Post tracking and accountability of my entrepreneurial progress as well as lifestyle progress consistently.
- Exposing myself to others; which I have never done before.
- To see if there are any values I could possibly contribute to the forums.
- Network with other a$$-kickers: Washington State is goddamn hectic for meeting new people right now; and I guessed that months of sticking my a$$ in the house, my social skills are borderline retarded (maybe).

Currently, the base of my venture is my blogging website and also my start-up project for an app that is tied with my website. I will clarify more of my execution plan on Feb 6-7th.

Anyway, let's start this shit. I am feeling both excited and nervous at the same time.

Feel free to give me opinions & critiques (don't go easy on me), they would be very valuable for me.

Good luck to you. I wouldn't taken that path because it's quite risky to me but hei we are all different and that doesnt mean you are on the wrong path!

What website are you working on?
What is you plan to make a 1M$ in 6 months?!
I like the no video games, music binge and other stuff but why no masturbation? :)

I generally feel zapped up and pathetic if I bust a nut; one nut that day can lead to rampage of more nuts so I gotta kill it like killing a demon.

My website is rn a my personal blogging website about self-improvements, bio-hacking and masculinity stuffs; but that alone with low entry; and since I don't know shit so I wouldn't sell any eBook or programs. So I don't put all my chips on that could make me millions. Which I am right now starting to build an subscription-based app that also linked with my website.

Now I gotta focus on my website rigorously first to get more audiences and traffics, while building an overview of the app, I plan to converse audiences from my website to the app at the moment.

I'll talk more about my execution plan and some details of the app project at Feb 7th.

I fell that way also sometimes but is nothing wrong with busting a nut :) However to each their own.

Good luck looking forward to seeing the progress! Keep us posted and if you need any help let me know if I can help in any way

At your age, taking risks is the best option in my opinion. Do everything you want while you don't have the responsibility of others on your back, now is the time to take action.

And if in the end, you fail? You learn, and you go again :)

Good luck!

Kinda sounds like a passion project. What's the need in the market? Where's the value-skew?

There are hundreds of thousands of blogs regarding men's health, fitness and discipline. Maybe your app is providing a market-need but you haven't mentioned that so right now this all sounds like a hobby.

Week 1, day 2 - February 2nd:

What were my goals today?

- [x] Finish the Jan 22nd article.
- [-] Spend at least 3 high quality hours of learning how to code.
- [ ] Re-evaluate the software building project overview structure.
- [x] Train chest & back.
- [x] Read a chapter of Infinite Potential - Neville Goddard.

Habits checklist:

- [x] Take cold shower.
- [x] Meditate 15 minutes.
- [x] Training.
- [x] 4000-4200 calories eaten (3 meals): aprox 75g fat, 620g carbs, 195g protein (currently bulking).
- [x] Brain training: read a chapter of a book, 4 articles about bio-hacking; watched 3 knowledgeable videos today.
- [x] No porn, masturbation, social media, video games, music binge today.

Productivity score: 7.5/10.
Discipline score: 6/10.
Mental state: Focused on the first 4-5 hours of the morning, but got crashed down after a meal, procrastinated for 2-3 hours.

What have I learned today:

- Daily Stoic February 2nd: let us not be controlled by our impulses to act or react to certain behaviors; we are in control of our mind and feelings.
- I'd make a huge mistake if I keep bouncing from 2 huge things deliberately and constantly while having little results from both; I will fail for sure. Currently working on both software & my website, since both are related to my venture. But since I am still making more progress with my website than software building. I gotta focus more on the website until I see some good results (this reminds me of a chapter in TMF : Monogamy First).

What do I plan to do tomorrow?

- Write a review article about digital nomad products; write a brief draft of a free eBook; practice coding with Python first hour of the day.

Week 1, day 3 - February 3rd:

What were my goals today?

- [-] Write a "digital nomad gadgets" review article.
- [x] Learn/practice Python coding in an hour.
- [x] Train legs & shoulders.
- [ ] Write a brief draft of email's newsletter's free gift.

EXECUTION:

* Entrepreneurship/making money:

- No truly significant actions toward hustling/making income; still beating around the bushes & re-evaluating risks.
- Practiced Python coding for 45 minutes & review the product's execution plan.
- Improved the websites technicality and started pushing traffics.
- Half-finished an article about "minimalism gadgets for digital nomads".

* Lifestyle building & self-improvement stuffs:

Habits/daily practices checklist:

- [x] Take cold shower.
- [x] Meditate 15 minutes.
- [x] Training & 3900 - 4000 calories (195g protein)
- [x] No porn, masturbation, social media, video games, music binge today.

* Journal:

- Lacked discipline and mental focus yesterday; I felt a huge crash yesterday and was procrastinating for few hours for a while; still was abstaining myself from doing anything detrimental in the long run. Slowly gained back discipline by reading and start learning about affiliate advertising stuffs for my blog posts. I was lazy and little bit nervous so I didn't update last night.

What I expect to do tomorrow:

- Finish the leftover article & putting visuals on to previous articles. Start consulting with my college's advisor about work authorization and signing for OPT so that I can start building a "real" business & hustling with lessen risks cuz time is swinging fast.

Week 1, day 4 - February 4th:

What were my goals today?

- [ ] Finish the digital nomad gadgets article.
- [ ] Go for a 10-minute walk after a heavy meal at 3:30pm.
- [x] Train chest & back.
- [x] Add some images & links to previous existent posts

EXECUTION:

* Entrepreneurship/making money:

- Still on regarding to working on with the college's advisors before I start doing anything related to monetize my shits or hustling.
- Still working on the website behind the scenes; improving content quality, front-end & learning Python coding for an hour.

* Lifestyle building & self-improvement stuffs:

Habits/daily practices checklist:

- [x] Take cold shower.
- [x] Meditate 15 minutes.
- [x] Training & 4050 calories (202g protein)
- [x] No porn, masturbation, social media, video games, music binge today.

* Journal:

- At the moment I am kinda closed to hitting rock bottom in risks of losing my visa's status; I received the message today that since it is impossible for me to get a work authorization from government & since I haven't graduated, I couldn't get an OPT training; also it is more likely I have to depart from US since I dropped this quarter. Still, I book a call with my advisor tomorrow and let see what can I do.

- In spite of this hectic shit, I am going to persist & solve the problems until hitting the bottom. Which I am still focus on living feeling focused, care-free and happy toward building my online entrepreneurial venture.

It seems to me that you are making some bad choices. Please don't get me wrong, being motivated to start your own business is great. But you will have to make the right choices along the way to get to a profitable business.

Now, as far as I can tell from what you have shared, you decided some time ago you want to study in the US. So you managed to obtain a VISA, paid for a ticket and flew to the US to start college. After a while (how long?) you decided college is not for you and you drop out to start a business. Illegally.

I see two huge problems here:

1. You have a very high chance to loose your VISA
2. You are not allowed to start a business in the US so you would be operating a business illegaly

Why did you drop out of college and risk losing your VISA? You could easily have started a business while still in college. Also, how do you think to solve the "illegal business" problem?

Now solve these two problems first and only then start looking into business ventures. I assume you want to start a business in the US?

I dropped out because of my own gut instincts told me too. But I understand your concerns.

And no I definitely wasn't going to (and would never) stick to college anymore since I had contemplated and learned that it was unaligned with my intentions, I am not happy being a sheepie, and the piece of paper would be worthless.

(Also I am too ADHD to do both college stuffs and my own stuffs at the same time).

This came into my mind that I had always wanted to be a risk-taking, bold and self-sufficient, I had realized my purposes which were outside of college and stuffs, I don't want to waste my 18-25 for something irrelevant with no relevance to my purposes & potentials.

I dropped out of it after spent lots of hours thinking and the risks, bad-cased scenarios would be inevitable, I dropped out nonetheless. I'd want to start my own online business come from my own blog website and a lifestyle development software that has high value-skew & can scale millions (despite this sounds like violating Entry commandment). I am still doing that right now.

My visa and I-20 were just terminated yesterday, now I am currently in the grace period. Hence, I might intend to going back to my country and can still doing my stuffs in there, legally. Despite I really want to really stay in US and manage my businesses and develop my life here, I really want a citizenship.

But since there's no other way than going back, I guess I might do that. Since it is online, I can probably do anywhere I want.
Why have you set your goal to a million dollars by the end of July?
Have enough millions to invest and get a green card in US. And partially, for my own egoic reasons too: so that I can do a grand birthday party in Vegas in July & challenge my belief systems, abilities.

Oh almost forgotten about this thread, which I didn't update any progress daily. I guessed I am going to update weekly or monthly since I am focusing on the process of doing, which would be ego-depleting to keep everyday updated.

I might update at the end of this week.

My advice to you is not to play games with the USCIS or take the visa/grace period lightly. I have quite a bit of knowledge when it comes to visas. The very first piece of advice is not to overstay the grace period or you can be barred from entering the US again for a certain amount of time, or permanently.

It's such a broad topic with many options, you can consult an immigration lawyer before your grace period ends. There may be a few other ways you can stay, or even re-instate your F-1 visa and attend classes for the minimum required credits. I know a few people who did that while doing things on the side.

Thank for the advice.

What I know now is that my grace period is 60 days, and I still have like 59 days remaining. Which in case right now I am trying to keep myself under radar.

I might stay in US for a while until end of Feb and plan to return to my home country and making money online with my website & building my products.

I did thought about re-instatement but my family currently is in financial crisis, so if I am gonna stick my a$$ and keep studying would be complete waste. Which is why I decided to raise my online business to have enough money and invest for the green card.

* This is a replay about another subject, if you can give me an advice about this, I'd be grateful:

Right now I am not going to start any digital products like eBooks or online programs since I don't have enough experience and certain expertise, so I am focusing on gathering audiences for my website and building a software or some kind of subscription-based premium access to anything in my website like that. So I am going to focus on affiliating advertising in my articles & contents first.

Still, I don't know if I can sign up with some affiliate programming with other companies if I don't have SSN/ITIN in US, I am still figuring it out rn.
