Hello,
I'm quite inactive in this forum but my substance consume has stopped a lot since my last post so I guess that's not a bad thing my problem is that I can't suceed in F*cking school and I think its a mindset problem, I will do my A Levels in one year and everything we learn is sooo trivial, I mean I learn about german philosphers and writers in german and in mathematics I learn mathematics which I totally won't need in my buisness. I struggle to complete this class because I just don't give a F*ck anymore, I just want to work on my buisness but I am not allowed to and if I fail my year I have to do it again, which is the complete opposite of what I want so what should I do, I literally tried everything but after reading 5 minutes of Goethes books or learning something about differential equations my brain just says no and I can't work on it. I tried every learning technique but the fact that it's sooo unnecessary overweighs everything.
Thanks for help in advance and if you are also in my situation or were I would love to hear what you did/do.

I have a sibling who did A-levels, mostly science subjects (bio, maths, chem and divinity)

It absolutely demolished him because he didn't have very strong fundamentals of the sciences even in high school. (he still passed his papers, thankfully)

A lot of folks here might ask you to quit while you still can, and as long you can get a job, a freelance gig, or the biz itself to cashflow.

But I feel that if you strongly adhere to the principle that you should get what you started finished,no matter how trivial it may be...finish it.

I think you could drop the philosophical-type subjects, but you can look into subjects like Economics and Accounting, which have perhaps more lingo that is related with business.

I took Economics for my pre-uni studies in Australian Matriculation, and have no regrets, although the sections on Quantitive Easing and Open Market Operations was somewhat repetitive lol.

As for Math...can't run away from it.
I studied forecasting and econometrics units last year, and old stuff like matrices and differentiation returned to the table.
Simply look at the tough questions, see your weaknesses, and find practice questions on that section to do over and over and study it.

EDIT: If you still want to stick to the philosophical subjects, Cal Newport's 'How to be a Straight-A student' has a great discussion and case study on dealing with both theoretical and math subjects.

You see my problem Is that in austria we have to study every F*cking subject until our a levels so I'm struggling now with the most important german writers allthough it won't be a part of my a levels same with each other subject that's my main problem I have to study things which are genuienly the most uninteresting bullshit for me.

If I were to give myself advice growing up, it would have been to drop out of college after I first realized I had no desire to work a 9-5 or be a professor for the rest of my life. When I realized that my desire to create and run businesses since I had wanted to do in middle school and did in high school was not going to go away.

But you know, we each have our journey, etc, etc, etc

Stop whining. Get it done and get the best grades in your class. Be the best. If you can't be the best in school you won't even be average in business.

School is easy. Business is hard. You can't get stuck on negative shit if you want to win in business. You have to find the positives and make it worth it every single day.

There are positives in your schooling, but you won't find them until you look for them and you won't concentrate well until you commit to your own success 110%.

When you get that feeling of not being able to do the work, what do you do?
  • Do you go on reddit, social media, porn, etc?
  • Do you go play video games?
  • Do you go find something to eat?
  • Do you go try work on a business?
I'm curious
