Hello everyone,
I've recently started my entrepreneurial journey. I'm a software engineer and I'm currently looking to use those skills to start my business.
Since online platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, ...) are looking overly saturated, I'm currently betting on the local offline market.
I've been going to meetings from ToastMasters and BNI, and also been making a lot of phone calls to friends, family and acquaintance to see if there's something I can help them with or if they know someone I might be able to help.
Although I'm still not close to a sale, I've been having some good feedback and made some new interesting connections. I feel I only have to keep pushing now.
What has worked best for you when it comes to finding local clients? For me BNI is looking pretty solid and I'm also currently looking for meetup groups that might be interesting.
