Hi Everyone,
  • I am looking for a standing desk. Does anyone have any recommendations?
  • All of the sitting down during my regular job and then sitting down more during my entrepreneurial job can't be good for me.
  • I'm looking for some good deals during Black Friday
Thanks

The setup I use is this desk: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N023V8B/?tag=tff-amazonparser-20

With this table top: GERTON Table top - IKEA

I highly highly recommended you move to a stand up desk sooner rather than later. I used to have terrible neck pain all through school caused from sitting and straining my neck all day. Within a week of using a standup desk it was gone.

Also, I recommend you get a standup desk mat, or else your feet are going to feel like they're gonna fall off for the first few days (it gets better over time).

Thanks everyone, I am going to go with a Jarvis and Gertron setup. Maybe I'll use reclaimed wood if I can find some.

I also use a cheapo hand crank model from Ikea. Only cost me like $250 Canadian when I got it.

I did this one a few years ago and its worked fine ever since (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JREVI5G/?tag=tff-amazonparser-20). I liked it because it had two levels, one for the monitor(s) and another wide shelf for the keyboard and mice and whatnot. Reasonably affordable and no unnecessary gizmos, but that's just my style. There's a hand crank to make it go up and down. :)
