I came across a blog post on The Foundation, the post is here. It is written by Dan Schwartz, CEO of InvestorFuse, a company that built a CRM and lead management tool through the Podio platform until eventually creating their own platform using their original source code.
What experience do you all have with Podio or other open API creators? To me, I think it's a cool idea to find a niche, develop a cloud-based solution to solve a need or add convenience, sell it B2B, and eventually "SAASify" the process and build your own platform and also add the monthly recurring revenue model. Podio seems like a great place to at least come up with an MVP for an idea like this.
