"Most people work 9 to 5. I work 95 hours (per week). If you ever want to be a millionaire, you need to stop doing the 9 to 5 and start doing 95." - Grant Cardone

I am not agree.

It is not important how many hours you work per week but only your effectiveness level per day, every day.

“Efficiency is doing things right; effectiveness is doing the right things.”
Peter F. Drucker

Effectiveness is the ability to identify simple ed original solutions to complex problems.

Only the effectiveness in your action you will 'get rich.

As a business owner – you can't work…

  • You can't have stressful projects on your head.
It's a duty of a project manager, NOT THE OWNER.
  • You can't answer phone calls or emails.
It's a duty of a customer care, NOT THE OWNER.
  • You can't deal with sales.
It's a sales guy's job, NOT THE OWNER.
  • You can't service your stuff.
It's a job of a serviceman, NOT THE OWNER.
What then MUST you do?

Stop working and start GROWING your business.

Deal with management, organisation, strategic issues.

…Only then you can double your business.

Such life is not very stressful. It actually is quite pleasant 'cause you delegate most of the sh*tty stuff.

Do you harm anyone acting like this?
Absolutely NOT!
There's a lot of people around that actually like running projects, return phonecalls or emails, meet the clients or service machinery. Different people like different things and complement each other.

I got it today in a newsletter from some business trainer - deleted the mail but remembered the qoute. I love it.

Enthusiasm finds the opportunities', the energy creates most of these.

Probably quoted many times on this thread. But I'm throwing it back in.

"Some see private enterprise as a predatory target to be shot, others as a cow to be milked, but few are those who see it as a sturdy horse pulling the wagon."

And following on from that...

"I'd rather be Rich and Sad than Poor and Sad"

It is better to be rich and sad in a catamaran at Seychelles that poor and sad in a studio apartment in the Bronx.

Not sure if this been quoted before, but this hit me deep.

"You don't really want the life you say you want, otherwise you'd already have it"

it takes time in this world to get what we want

this is why there are words like FAITH

in a world where we could have what we want instantly, there would be no meaning for the word FAITH or WORK

and no meaning for the word JUSTICE

what does the word justice mean ?

it seems to me JUSTICE is knowing that life will reward you for your FAITH and WORK in an unfair world

JUSTICE is having results anyway in an absurd world where good people are punished and bad people are rewarded

JUSTICE is saying " no, there is order in life, i don't accept the way it is , here is how things will be "

it reminds me of this song

the problem in life is that we don't really understand things if we don't do them or don't care about them

for example , as a shy guy, i had trouble to go eat alone in a restaurant

i used to say to myself " people will think i am a loser with no friends"

then i listened to a David Angelo program about dating

he said something very profound

" i want you to seat down and notice that no one cares that you are there

nobody notices you

nobody gives a damn what you are doing

they don't care !

thay can't even see you.. they can't see you ! it doesn't matter

and if you talk to girl and she says that you are a dork with no friends then... nobody cares !!

it doesn't matter what the girl thinks !! "

and sure enough, when i did the exercice nobody cared that i was there alone in the restaurant looking at people

i was like a invisible angel among zombies

so what ?

we can't know a thing until we have made it or studied it

i have made my homework by understanding things like strategy and society : the masters of the game

which means, that 99 % of people are potentially on my chess board because they have not studied anything

" you decide that something can and must be done and you will find the way"

you know, i like the mindset of people here.

if you ask people in social situation , " by the way what do you really want in life ?"

they will say something like " hapiness, a lot of money, my girlfiend back, "

ok, but this is not what i want you to say

the question i ask you is " what's your mission in life ? why are you on earth ? "

people will look at you like you are crazy

"There lay all my love of life: a silent passion for what would perhaps escape me, a bitterness beneath a flame.
