(small) Office Space Psychology and Elements

    PEOPLE
About to setup a small office, and am curious about the psychology behind- as to how to purpose build a layout. For starters I'm looking for a place with a Kitchen (we're in Asia) so people are well fed and hopefully that entices them to stay (improve retention). I am unsure about open vs...

Bitcoin / Cryptocurrency Discussion (And Predictions)

    HOT! CRYPTO
Yes. Follow the money. Blockstream (with Lightning) makes money precisely because BTC is a shitcoin. And, he made hashcash and his name's on page 1 of the white paper lol.

Bitcoin / Cryptocurrency Discussion (And Predictions)

    HOT! CRYPTO
Naseem Taleb said it best on Twitter earlier this week, it hedges against nothing and is a cult/religion now. For some real insight look at Barely Sociable's videos on YouTube that pretty much expose Adam Back as Satoshi, and the rampant censorship and cult-think since theranos days. Load up...

Should I move out of my parents house?

Yeah well, people are not rational nor logical actors. We prioritize what we personally and emotionally want most. I will tell you this, there is no pride or virtue in "being independent", working a job to sustain yourself and all of those old tropes from a couple of centuries ago. It's all a...

What Did You Learn From Math?

What are some awesome paradigm shifting truths that you learned about life, business and the universe thanks to math? For me it is the realization that cutting corners just isn't worth it if one sits down and does the actual math. Money if it isn't spent, grows exponentially with time. I love...

Keeping the Money you make. Behavior and Attitude.

    MINDSET
Fastlane is education on how to scale and make money, but what about keeping the money that you do make? I've made a few million dollars in total income in my ~15 odd years in business for myself, the large chunk of it from the internet. And yet today I have a sub $50k net worth to show for it...

    Partying

    OFF-TOPIC
I don't think that one's game really improves. You just think that it improves. Especially when you get drunk to the point of not caring. As a sober spectator it's obvious to see others go through this. It's even sadder when the women they're hitting on aren't also drinking. I think that scoring...

    Partying

    OFF-TOPIC
I don't think that the 2 are necessarily connected (partying and socializing). Especially alcohol. If you're the kind of person who needs or relies on alcohol to loosen up and talk to people, it could spiral out of control into addiction. It did for me. Be very careful if you drink for the buzz.

Making Money For Dummies (And In a Crowded Market)

    GOLD! HOT!
Thank you IceCreamKid. The secret sauce to this specific business seems to be figuring out which neighborhoods will pay $300 for carpet cleaning. It may be doable without even living in (proximity of) these neighborhoods, or even halfway across the world once you have that data and send out the...
