Feedback for recently released workout app

    EXECUTION
Yes, it is very competitive - there are a lot of different apps out there, but here are four ways we're skewing value. As mentioned in the OP, we are offering premium features for free for three weeks, and won't even take any payment information until the free trial ends and the customer...

Feedback for recently released workout app

    EXECUTION
We finally got our weightlifting workout tracker app up and running, and I would appreciate your feedback (well, it’s on Android at least – the iOS version is still going through validation with Apple and should be done in a couple of weeks). We only have a couple of premium features right now...

[BENCH PRESS] Does this mess up your chest in the long run?

    HEALTH
Another question for the calisthenics crowd: How do you get enough stimulation to work your lower body without the use of weights? Sets of 500 reps of body-weight squats? I imagine doing super-high reps of any exercise would be more for conditioning than strength- or muscle-building. Thanks...

Please help - developer asking for more after mostly done

    FTE
Thanks for all of your input. We got it worked out. I am going to pay them the $300 (1/2 now, 1/2 after deployment, which is one of the original conditions), but with the new contract stipulating that there will be no further expenses for me. If it takes them longer than anticipated, or...

They were friends with each other. I didn't know them beforehand. I'm going to change the OP so it's more clear.

Please help - developer asking for more after mostly done

    FTE
OK, the developers I hired (one to do the front end, the other to do the back end. They're friends [edit to clarify that they're friends with each other - I didn't know them beforehand], and basically came as a package deal) are now asking for more money to finish the deployment of the app...

Doing the Andy Frisella "75 Hard" Challenge

    HOT! MINDSET
Currently on day four after re-starting (for the second time). Feeling good. I know we've talked a lot about the challenges we're having completing this, but let's talk a little about what benefits we're seeing as we journey through this. As I've said before, drinking a gallon of water a...

That so reminded me of a video I saw a while ago: View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ow0lr63y4Mw It is safe for work and anybody who remembers Bob Newhart will appreciate it. Even if you don't remember Bob, the advice he dispenses here can be valuable no matter what your situation in life.

Back at day one. The hardest parts for me are drinking all the water and the strict diet - especially on weekends, as fishgodeep mentioned. Of course, it's easy (at least easier) to get up in the morning to get the first 45 minute workout in now that the weather's nice.

Doing the Andy Frisella "75 Hard" Challenge

    HOT! MINDSET
Really didn't want to get up this morning to get the workout in, since I know I'll be too busy tonight after work to do it (since mowing the lawn doesn't count as exercise). It was worth it, though - that sunrise was AMAZING! My weight loss has stalled, but like I said before, if I keep at it...

Doing the Andy Frisella "75 Hard" Challenge

Well, back to square one. It was the water that got to me. I got a late start with it, and just didn't catch up. Back on the wagon today (even though it's Father's Day and I know my kids will be giving me some treats, but those will just have to wait until August 30th!).

Doing the Andy Frisella "75 Hard" Challenge

    HOT! MINDSET
Doing good so far, but we'll see how the weekend goes. These are the days I hardly drink any water (need to set a timer on the phone to remind me), and the diet goes bad. I'm determined, though. Already got my morning run in, and I'm down another .6 pounds (digital scale) for a total of four...

I think 1 gallon of water because it's easy to track (at least here in the U.S.). I think he also explains in the podcast linked to in the OP why 75 days - because he had 75 days to meet a fat-loss goal to lose a certain amount of body fat. Oh man, that sucks! You've got the right attitude...
