    I have lost a lot of money with a 'partnership' in the past. I also learnt to not have partners, if someone is worth having, hire them as an employee otherwise you will most likely have problems. I've been more successful without partners.

    Start out as German fitness, then you can list local cities on the homepage. If you have nothing to add for them yet you can put a tab there where people could suggest gyms etc for that city so it won't look as empty, or you could always just put under construction next to those that are empty...

    There are numerous successful companies that started with a single person, you don't necessarily need a partner, unless that partner is 100% on the same wavelength as you things can get very messy.
