    I'm an administrator in public education. Trading time for money... there's some things that public education does really well - I'm trying to help open up different "career path" tracks for high school students. I've worked in middle schools, high schools and alternative ed.

    I'm in the same boat, but as an educator. I agree with the time for money thing-that's why I'm trying to find ways to crack that open and break free. I pushed and got our district to start a business admin career track next year, which will be a four-five year business program, ending with entrepreneurship & management. For me, that's just the beginning.

    Have you read "What School Could Be" by Ted Dintersmith? I've used that as my springboard and met the guy at an entrepreneur seminar last November. We are slowly trying to convert our school over, but it might take me starting my own school to realize all that I want to do.

    I believe in 21st century skills, so collaboration, speaking/writing skills, time mgt, entrepreneurship...I'm doing podcasts, news programs, VR, genius time and PBL in my classroom now. I love that you're trying to open the career tracks. What other ideas have you had? I've been workin to collaborate with individuals all over the country to make education hands-on.

    I work in education currently.... the "one size fits all" is ridiculously outdated and quite depressing actually. I'm curious what you're trying to accomplish to "revolutionize" education?

    Thanks for getting in touch. I have a lot of different things I'm doing in my own classroom and ideas that I'm trying to get out there. Big believer in PBL/21st century skills and tired of the same old game. My end goal is to open my own school. Are you a teacher or how are you connected with education?
