Stop learning and dreaming, start acting.

Stop learning and dreaming, start acting.
The only thing that bothers me about this is isn’t she creating yet another piece of “content” that helps distract the dreamers and keep them dreaming instead of doing?

If anything she is lucky there are time wasting dreamers because without them who would watch her tv show!?

So should we as entrepreneurs not only resign ourselves to the reality that some in society are for life consumers and some are the doers who make it?

Should we we go as far as be happy that such for life dreamers exist and the more the better for us doers because that means more customers and a better life for US?

I personally just wish the best for myself and those around me, mutual betterment of society as the Judo principle states.

Or am I myopic in my thinking?

A big part of culture is resigned to mediocrity and consumerism. Her works supports that.

A small part of culture wants better, but refuses to make the choices for better -- this is for them.

Yes I understand.
I’m just somewhat disturbed at the thought of supporting resignation to mediocrity and consumerism.

Why not support a meth users drug habit as well, that’s quite profitable too, but illegal.

And yet who am I to judge, the screenwriter in the comic may genuinely wanted to produce some real art.

I get it’s not all black and white though, and regardless there is no other way to make a living without servicing other humans in some way or form.

The ancient Romans idealized farming for that reason as Cicero wrote:
"of all the occupations by which gain is secured, none is better than agriculture, none more profitable, none more delightful, none more becoming to a free man."

Thanks for sharing this comic, another signal for doing and not just dreaming.

I'm love to read and to consume new ideas, for ex. great books, but I feel I'm stuck at this point or I'm going forward "too slowly"...
