    Default Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams

    Recently I found [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ji5_MqicxSo"]this inspiring video[/ame], I'd like to share. It's the literally and knowingly last lecture from Randy Pausch, professor at Carnegie Mellon University, who is dying from pancreatic cancer with just few months left (at that time).

    Cite from his site:
    "With equal parts humor and heart, Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch recently delivered a one-of-a-kind university lecture that moved an overflow crowd at Carnegie Mellon - and is now moving audiences around the globe.
    Follow his inspiring journey through his childhood dreams to groundbreaking achievements at Carnegie Mellon.
    Co-founder of the university's Entertainment Technology Center and creator of Alice, a revolutionary software that teaches computer programming, Randy shares the lessons he's learned that helped him turn his childhood dreams into reality."

    It is really great, moving and inspiring

    One of his quotes, I propably will never forget is Brick walls are there for a reason. It's not to keep you out, but a chance to prove how badly you want things.

    ::hijack alert::

    CarrieW,

    Just wanted to say welcome back to the forum. I read your other posts and said a prayer for peace for you. Not sure if you felt it - but I sent lots of hugs too.

    ::you will now return to your regularly scheduled thread::
