Here goes. Okay so I've decided that I want to run my own Ecommerce site and for a month I've been reading Ecommerce blogs etc... i dont really have a penny to my name and decided that I'm going to need some start up cash to invest in some product. To finance this, I got a job at a fast food shop (started this week) and i should have enough in around 3-4 months, the problem is picking a product.
I really do not understand how to do market research.I know that adwords and visiting forums based around a potential product is involved but, i'm still confused as to what i'd have to do to research. For example if I wanted to conduct market research on ready made customized cigarette packages/containers what do I look for ?
How do i research competition ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
