Thread: [Journal] Creating Logo for Supporting Logo Company

Before new year, I offered my logo design for free to lovely member here (Thank you LightHouse, av1atic, Eskil, Mike39, and others who let me serve you) . At least that is what I can do to give back for tons of knowledge that I received here. These are some of the logos that I created for them:

After I sent the logo, I received very good feedback and then I got an idea to setup a system that can create high quality logo with low price so people can setup their own Logo or Design Company.

My idea is pretty simple:
1. Me and my friends build a group of high qualitifed logo producer
2. Find some partner to do joint venture reselling our services
3. Fulfill the order

I will offer really low price so that my partner can get higher profit. After calculation of cost and overhead, I can offer my partner $15/logo with two alternatives and unlimited revisions. I will also offering money back guarantee if the client is not satisfied.

I believe that the logo with this quality can be sold for $30, $50, $75 or more. This can give my partner higher profit for them.

Well, that's the plan. Maybe this is not the fastlane, but I think I need something to take action and get going.

It's already a week from the last update.

Up until now I have several people contacting me showing interest on this venture.
One is from France, and he said he will opening a site to re sell my service.
Another one is from Colorado, and he said he can supply until 20 logo's per day.
The other is just contacting without much discussion in my skype.

Until this day I've already got 12 sales from this business model.

One thing that change is I offer $20 / logo for white label service.
White label service meaning that I will not put the logo in my portfolio,
all work is belong to the client (and the client of the client )

Until now the main communication for revision is going through email.
I'm thinking to setup a site and also support ticket system so that the revision can be accessed through that system.

Yesterday I got advice from my friend:
if you can't do all perfectly, don't stop and doing nothing at all.
because if you keep thinking about "not perfect thing", you will get stuck
just like a deer in the night when the flash light spotting on its head
the fear will creeping and you cannot move
so keep moving and taking action, in the end there will be something waiting for you
