    Default Rate my ideas....

I have a few ideas, ranging from simple to complicated...

(note most of these would be launched from Australia/for Australians)

    1. Medical tourism.

Become an online travel agent for people looking to have medical/dental work done overseas at a lower cost. Eg Work done inn Thailand, include transfers, accommodation, airfares etc

    2. Wedding directory.

Got the idea from another thread. Not sure about this one as I am not sure the population/marriage numbers per year would make this worth it as far as a fastlane business goes, for my location.

    3. Holiday home rental service.

Instead of hotels, staying in holiday homes. Website that allows people to browse holiday homes available for vacation rental. I can see there is already a decent amount of competition in this area, so it obviously must have some kind of profits. Not sure if it is already saturated.

    4. Review your "insert service/business here"

Like maybe builders. A website where people can rate there builder (for example) the work he did, reliability etc. A place that people could go to check out a prospective builder before hiring him/her.

    5. Virtual Assistant provider.

Instead of overseas people, focusing on Aussie workers for Aussie businesses. USP is keeping it local, no language/cultural barriers. In same time zone. Get more for your $$ as communication theoretically should be easier with a "local" VA.

    6. Online auction site for Aussie

Obviously there is already ebay, and there is a handful of others (from my brief research).

    7. Health supplements

Reason being I know there is big $$ in this area. I have a friend who has an entire cupboard in his kitchen FULL of all kinds of supplements. Not sure how small to niche this down or where to start (or if it is even worth is as a reseller).

    8. Sell pregnancy/pre/post pregnancy stuff

Ovulation kits, pregnancy tests, prenatal vitamins etc. Have an idea for a product to develop that helps woman regain their shape after pregnancy. I have seen a similar product for sale in the states.

    9. Directory of photographers

A place where photographers can showcase there work and get leads.

I am not sure if all/any of these are fastlane, just trying to bounce some of my ideas around. See what those with more experience think...

I like your medical tourism idea. My in-laws used to get their dental work done in Tijuana because the prices were so much lower. I know people will also travel abroad for procedures not yet approved by the FDA. Lots of reasons people do this, and I think there's a need for trustworthy guidance.

I like 6 and 8. If 6 is not already done it would be a good bet because it has leverage potential and can work while you are asleep. With 8 you will need to package and ship unless you have that figured out already.

I have a friend of mine in panama who does this. except she provides a "bed an breakfast" type service. she will pick them up. take them to the doctors, then back home and a couple days of rest. make great money, hard to scale. she said the biggest need here is to have someone hand holding them through a foreign country so they don't feel scared.
that means boots on the ground type service. but there is good money in it.

    2. Wedding directory.

Got the idea from another thread. Not sure about this one as I am not sure the population/marriage numbers per year would make this worth it as far as a fastlane business goes, for my location.
Yawn, been done a billion times, in a hundred languages, the question is, what is the angle that would make it different? maybe an Angie's list type of wedding directory? what is your cost to enter this market? i will bet is expensive.
    3. Holiday home rental service.

Instead of hotels, staying in holiday homes. Website that allows people to browse holiday homes available for vacation rental. I can see there is already a decent amount of competition in this area, so it obviously must have some kind of profits. Not sure if it is already saturated.
VBRO.com and alot of other good ones. whats the unique angle here? what can you bring to the market to make it better, faster, cheaper? I have used homeaway.com and vbro.com a couple times. no idea why I would want to find another one.
craigs list can even do it sometimes.

    4. Review your "insert service/business here"

Really? become an affiliate for everyone? weak strategy because you have no locus of control as an affiliate.

    5. Virtual Assistant provider.

Instead of overseas people, focusing on Aussie workers for Aussie businesses. USP is keeping it local, no language/cultural barriers. In same time zone. Get more for your $$ as communication theoretically should be easier with a "local" VA.
    meh,
how do you scale from 100 workers to 10,000?

    6. Online auction site for Aussie
    ebaymate.com?
    how are you different?

Obviously there is already ebay, and there is a handful of others (from my brief research).

    7. Health supplements

Reason being I know there is big $$ in this area. I have a friend who has an entire cupboard in his kitchen FULL of all kinds of supplements. Not sure how small to niche this down or where to start (or if it is even worth is as a reseller).
I have done this space. there a host of issues and problems with getting it launched and there is cashflow issues for scale ect. but solving all those. makes it a profitable place to be. your biggest problem is currently visa and mastercard are not liking this space, and pretty much banning any sites like this. google wont let you do ppc either, and SEO is very competitive here.

    8. Sell pregnancy/pre/post pregnancy stuff

Ovulation kits, pregnancy tests, prenatal vitamins etc. Have an idea for a product to develop that helps woman regain their shape after pregnancy. I have seen a similar product for sale in the states.
great market, what is your direction? and how do you break into the mommy blogger niche? this has potential to scale.

    9. Directory of photographers

A place where photographers can showcase there work and get leads.
Flicker killed most of these. flicker, facebook, instagram, pinterest. ect..
    this is 1999 thinking.
