I open this as I've always wished to track my progress, I believe reviewing ones actions to be fundamental for a person to learn and gain from them. I will save the back story for now - the point of the story right now is that I'm fairly young and have belief that I will get to where I wish to go.
As with everything, it takes smaller steps to reach the destination of success, so right now here's what I'd like to achieve in the short term range:
1) Continue my policy of 'Continuous Learning' by expanding the time I spend reading books related to the areas I'm interested in. Also hire some mentors for specific skills I wish to gain, as I have a small amount of cash saved for this very same purpose.
2) Set up a 'Support/Mentor Group' - although stolen from Napoleon Hill's 'Think and Grow Rich', this is a very powerful notion to incorporate into ones life. Presidents have cabinets encompassing all aspects of the country advising them; Companies have boards advising them; likewise it is a powerful thing to have a group of people advising you and steering you i the right direction.
3) Define my goals - and read them every morning.
4) Drill into my head the idea of focusing. One thing done well is a lot more beneficial than many things done poorly.
5) Work on my systems for organising information, and utilising them.
Right now I'm working on a small software reselling business, fairly good margins but nowhere near the levels I wish to get it at. Apologies for the very brief and uninsightful post - I'm going by the 'Get it done regardless of how bad it is' principle here, as the choice really is a rubbish post vs no post at all, and the former wins easily. Hopefully I'll up date these closer to regularly than sporadically.. there's a long path to walk yet so if you do read than it is much appreciated, likewise any feedback is also.
