Thread: First step of many

Going to learn how to code.

I'm going to use treehouse.

I want to learn for at least 1 hour a day.

This thread is so i stay on track and i update it daily to know i am not stopping.

Do you mind if telling me what you going to do?
like what kind of business you going to make?
Why do you need to learn code?

O sure I have done plenty of research on the "fastlane" life and at this current economic time the best way to break into the fastlane is by the internet. (Unless you have a investor which most of us don't)

The site will be about a few things i am not sure as of yet what it will exactly be. I might start a site like pay pal and just make a more reliable and better customer support on the site. It could be a simple info site that has not been touched on yet. Or possibly a site that totally different of some sort.

I have time to research all my ideas a pick the best one since I'm just learning coding now.

The reason I'm learning coding is that i want to make the website myself and not have someone else do it. Also i think its a important thing to learn nowadays.

Btw if you dont have a idea or cant think of one meditate (it helps trust me)

I would like to see the progress of your learning.
Especially when you finally making a website.

I think the paypal idea is great since paypal is complicated to me and too much program I don't understand.

If you haven't found any reading material, I would suggest Oreilly Head First books. They've got a basic HTML and CSS one and an advanced HTML 5 and javascript one. I enjoy their style. Good luck to ya!

just find a site to learn
but not understand which one is good to learn since they got a lot of material in there.
