Default Direct Marketing (Flyers, Door Hangers, Door-To-Door, etc.)

Anyone here have any experience with direct marketing such as direct mail, door hangers, flyers, etc.? Service based businesses specialise in these most of the time but products can thrive too. I am going to be launching my first marketing campaign for my year round maintenance service for my home maintenance company on a mass scale of 100,000 wealthier homes with door hangers in multi-step marketing (3 times) on a 6 week campaign.

Share some experiences and any tips on direct marketing.

    do it in smaller chunks
if you blew it out, and suddenly had 100 clients, and you could only service 10 per week, you would have a pissed off group.

    Smaller, more often, targeted areas.

remember people need to see your msg more than1 time sometimes.

so hitting them 3+ times over a 6 weeks, would be good.

as for the flyers, I found a good take action now offer, is pretty good.

like TEXT LAWN to 70259 and get a free cutting works.......

Hey, thanks for the response. Well my business model is not pro-solo. I am focusing on getting as many clients as possible and will work with a known recruitment agency to hire experienced professionals with prior years of experience to do all of the jobs and they will be assigned out to a group of customers each week. I want to focus on running the business end of things and at the same time hiring the best people possible for the job to maximise a quality job. Ultimately expanding the company into every suburb but I am starting out with the Upper Middle Class-Upper Class market.

My call to action is 2 free fertilisation treatments into the year round package if they sign up right away to increase value of the package rather then giving a discount since i am targeting a wealthier audience and to my knowledge from research: They are more prone to being attracted to value adding.

When designing the flyers, make sure you use the right words, not too long though... It only takes a second for a person to decide whether to continue reading or dispose a flyer so make sure you design your flyer properly and attractively.
