    Default Html5

    Hey everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with HTML5? Looking for a recommendation on books in regard to learning. I currently have "HTML5 Mastery:Semantics, Standards, and Styling", however, it seems to be lacking in several areas and focuses mainly on advanced techniques and style.

I've also read up on w3schools and it doesn't seem to go as in depth as I'd prefer.

    Any input?

    Thank you,

    Cory

I've not done anything with HTML 5 yet, but here are a couple sites I have bookmarked for future reference.

HTML 5 Boilerplate provides an HTML 5 template that is already cross-browser friendly and claims to handle older browsers gracefully.

Can I Use? is a site that tells you which browsers can use what goodies in HTML 5 (along with CSS, SVG, etc.)

I'm just about done reading HTML5 for Masterminds... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/146...SIN=146360405X

It was pretty good introductory material and covered some of the useful API's ... I would recommend it. (Disclosure: The above link is affiliate link)
