Default Site is almost done! Please Critique! :)

Well, I am doing the finishing touches on my site. I was wondering if you guys would be generous enough to take a look at what I have done so far and let me know what needs to be fixed/added or taken away.

Each State has a few "example" law firms in the first city on their page. So for example, if you click on Florida, then on the first city, Crestview, you will see a few example firms.

    Here is the link:

Please, don't beat around the bush if you see any issues with the site. I am a very thick skinned person and I take constructive criticism very well. I have always looked up to the many accomplished people on this site and I would love to hear your comments and opinions.

    Thank you.

I don't like the navigation on the left. I don't like the background nor the faded grey columns, it doesn't add any true value and junks up a otherwise clean theme.

I would get rid of the nav on the left all together. The only links you need are home and contact in which you can put those in the top right. Remember, people come to your site to look for content first, then look for navigation second. Make the states bigger and across the entire div in the middle. Put a call to action above the states like "click on any of these" or something to let them know they need to select their state from the map.

Also, move the description text on the bottom to the top somehow and make it look clean and sleek. This will help out with SEO.

    Cheers,
    James F.

You need to add it to Web Page Review Process

Thank you James. I will work on those. I really appreciate the critique.

Knightsman, I submitted the url into the link you sent. Have you used that service before? What exactly do they review?

A lot of military networks, and schools use that as a defense. Opens up your audience a bit!
