Thread: SEO across the Ocean

Has anyone had any positive experiences with SEO work from companies in India or Pakistan?

I've had a few interesting conversations so far with some prospect companies. Their references and customer reviews seem above the norm as well as their methods and approach. Wondering if I should give it a go. At 1/4 the rates here in the US im thinking why not!

What are the negatives?

Man I've seen some of those companies lol, they own entire village to do link building for them. Scary

To be honest if you just want links and a decent SERP, then its fine. Those guys do their job well, but they aren't as intimate as the people who are totally dedicated to SEO.... its like you can tell when you call customer support that thick accent speaker's name is not Scott, and he is not from Arizona. So I doubt their abilities to do actual link baiting, social networking etc, its so easy to tell when someone is just spamming.
