So 401k's and Social Security are failing. What is the "Economist's" advice...

"People need to save a lot more," she says. "Social security is a base but it's not enough. I'm just advocating that people save more."

The bankruptcy protection alone is worth putting money into a 401(k), especially if you have your own company and can choose which provider to use and what investment choices you have.

It's nice knowing that even if everything goes completely to hell for me financially, and I have to go through bankruptcy, my 401(k) will remain intact and I can at least feed myself afterwards.
