OK, everyone, here is the latest:

2nd Annual Beer & Pancakes Get Together

Dress Code: Casual, typically shorts/golf shirts/comfy shoes.

COST: $150 per person* (REGISTER HERE)

(ignore "A Moveable Thirst"- this is a book we sell at the B&B)

* Break Even is set at 20 people. If we have any surplus ($ left over), we will either rebate everyone or the group will decide on where the leftover funds will go (group investment, charities, scholarship fund, fastlane forums legacy fund, etc).

Dates:

Start: Friday, February 27 (9 am) (option: meet some attendees earlier for breakfast)
End: March 1 (4:00 pm)

Note: Lots of activities Sunday after 3:30 pm for those who stay.

Estimated Costs:

-$109-200/nt for hotel room (x 3 or 4 nights = $360-800)
-$150 for registration (includes lunch for Fri, Sat, Sun)
-$200+ your airfare (per person)
-$200 + or - (meals-- dinner Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun, breakfast F, Sa, Sun, Mon)
-$40 + airport transportation (or rental car, more $$)

$950 - 1500/1600 for event (more $$ if hotel room is more and you rent a car)

(but hey, it gets cheaper if you sleep in the same room! )

There are a few of us working on the location. We have Days Inn on hold while we look at other options. There are 10 rooms on hold for us at a set price. We will let everyone know when the location is determined for certain.

For any military members Luke AFB has Fighter Country Inn. $27/night stay. I don't know how far from Scottsdale it is, but the drive each morning and night may be worth it to save money on accommodations.

Mark me down as an "attendee" albeit I probably won't be there on all days, and at all times. As most of you know, I'm not one for "guruing", doing seminars, and public speaking, so I won't be presenting anything formal. I also have a few commitments during these days, but I will be there, at least part of the time and to meet the faces behind the names.

Also, I hope to have some serious progress on my book so at least I can distribute a chapter or two for the group's early review and feedback.

I am looking forward to seeing all of you in February!

That's good to know. SkyHarbor is my only experience in Phoenix in the last 10 years.
