I think DailyBurn is killing it in workout tracking so don't want to go there. They probably have nutrition tracking in there too. There are some other sites doing it.. Not my strong point too

Looking for options now, cheers for suggestions!

You can ask them what their goals are and provide an already proven workout program for them.

One thing I notice a lot on bb.com is people are very curious on their %bf. Offer to estimate your subscribers %bf. Another thing I noticed is that most people are too lazy to measure their daily macros and cals. You can tell your subscribers to post what they ate for the day and you can measure their cals and macros for them.

Give your subscribers something to look forward to every week, like "weighttraningweekly's athlete of the week",, interview them and have it featured in the newsletter. BB.com does this,, they give store credit to the winner,,, maybe you can offer them something like a tshirt.

I wouldn't do it exactly as you say maybe, just send them a workout routine to do for 3 months, send them a 7 day course about training with autoresponder and then have couple of emails going in every week with tips about how to make better workouts and nutrition advice. Those could be autoresponder series too. After 3 months a new workout would be sent. But this seems like a service people should pay for...

    What you think?
Well, I was suggesting the true personalized workout routines (where you or your partner actually designs a custom, unique workout routine based on their goals and current status) as a paid option.

Yeah, this is what I was getting at - let them choose their goal and then send them a program based on their goal.

Hmm... sending someone else's workout that you can already find easily sounds kinda lame. And making your own one is unnecessary work (altho both are options I'm considering).

I think I will change the site into Build Muscle theme and not both, fat loss and build muscle. Bit narrower, easier understand.

And will change the site layout 180 percent into a squeeze page, not a usual blog/magazine layout. There will be the pitch, the sign up form and then examples of content we provide. Nothing else. That should be make it more clear to people. If they still don't want to receive useful information to their email inbox then this idea is dead.

Maybe we will add some autoresponder series to the newsletter..

Thanx again for input guys! Appreciate it!

Dude, this idea needs to be put down now. Don't waste anymore time on it. It's another case of someone wanting to do what they love as MJ talked about in his book. There is no NEED in this situation. The muscle market is saturated beyond belief and there isn't anything about your idea that is compelling or new.

FIND A NEED. CREATE THE SOLUTION. This, my friend, is just not cutting it.

Sorry to be so blunt, but there is only so much time anyone is given. Don't waste time chasing dead ideas.

Out of nowhere two people sign up the same day lol...

But we did stop working on it now. Shame, real disappointed with this. Maybe I will figure out the mistakes in future as I will be able to look back. Could relaunch it one day!

    Starting new project!

You were trying to be an internet marketer instead of a business person. I never saw anything business wise happening with your business, only internet markety stuff.

Change that, and you'll do fine.

Read this, it's very good business model:

Email Newsletters Are Serious Business | Jason L. Baptiste

It's one most people dismiss. Having a blog is much more Internet marketing than this...

I didn't say anything was wrong with the business model. I said you were doing internet markety stuff instead of building a business. The model itself is fine.

Internet marketing stuff is great but it comes after building the actual business. I think the problem was you never really had a "business" to begin with. Your business model was incomplete.
