Thread: I bought myself a B day present today...

Even though its a month and a half away. (technicaly it was my business that bought it for me)

I just plunked down $2013.10 on a nice shiney new Sig 556. Totaly kick ass rifle, its so nice! Can't wait to shoot it! Sig took the best parts of the AK47, M16, and threw a little FN Fal in. So it will go through hell and keep on shooting, and its as precise and accurite as an M16.

Yeah their is a local one but it's horrible. My friend is a member of a rod and gun club I want to join, they have an awsome range and its only $5 to shoot all you want! The local range is like $25! WTF to stand their for an hour! Plus they yell at you if you fire to fast.

I'm working on my uncle's partner, he has a range on his property.

I have been shooting a couple of years. But I only have a Ruger Mini 14 and my grandfathers IP M1 Carbine. I don't really shoot the M1 much since its worth something now, I might put 50 rounds through it a year at most.

Its kind of built up where I live, so I have to go to a range. But I'm making friends with people who have property so I can just shoot on their land.

I don't know how old you have to be to buy a gun in CT, I'd guess 18.
