Thumbs up My 2009 B&P Thank you note

To all of you that attended the 2009 Meetup, I want to send you two messages:

    1. You guys are sick. You got the disease and now can't go back.

    2. Thanks. It is great to spend time with family.

    Let me get started:

Bob: Cashflow Pimp!!! now, if you could explain things to me in English instead of Accountant speak I would get more of your ideas

Steve: Seriously, it is time to go on a national tour. Your presentation skills are getting better and better, and maybe you won't need the little bell before telling a joke.

Kenric: You are an example. Can I please crash at your couch and make a million?

Dana: Hail to the SEO Queen. Can't praise you enough.

Russ: Thanks a lot for helping setup the event and payments even though you knew you couldn't make it. What a class act!

Adi: You were a breath of fresh air. Great meeting you. I was surprised by how mature and wise you are. Remember, that was real life, today is just a staging period, OK?

Clint: It's not the technology, it is the service what you are learning. Keep listening.

Clint's mom: You are 100% right, it is the team.

Clint's dad: I can't even imagine how proud you must be of your big boy

David: You are way over the edge... Can't stop being amazed by your wisdom and your great point of view

Greg: Your plan of Template, user-generated content and then replicate is amazing. There is no way you can fail.

Jill: From ebay to airline miles, you are the master life-hacker. Can't wait to see what other trick you will pull of next time

Tim: Sorry we couldn't spend that much time together. Say hi to your wife for me, OK?

Kerry: You can land a plane, you can make a web site take off... failure is not an option

Jason: Scarcity is so 2007... let's go and live in abundance, we deserve it.

Jay: hey neighbor, see you around

Gita: we did not spend that much time together this weekend, but we will have our chance now that we are back home

MJ: It is an honor to get to know you now, just before you get to be the next financial celebrity.

Jon: Internet genius. Better golf player. Unemployed. I want to be like you when I grow up

John Seiferth: yep. 1st notice. 2nd notice. no renewing. Get the headache out of your life.

Kasey: There is always next year, we will catch up. Thanks for coming.

Shinyi: Wow, what a pleasant surprise. You came out of nowhere and now we all love you. ps: call Dana

Luke: "I'm your father" Thanks for presenting and giving back. The fact that you took the opportunity presented and ran with it is a proof of your character. Winner.

Mike: I have to write a whole chapter of thank-yous just for you and your wonderful soulmate, my bro.

Sara: How do I say "hello" in Klingon? Don't forget to send me pics from your first softball game, OK?

Bill: Yes, your prices are too low and don't reflect the value you offer.

Ryan: Successful back-hand slapper; Successful bullrider; Successful preforeclosure investor. Do you notice a pattern? FollowRyan.com

Sonya: You are the wise sister I never had. Can't thank you enough.

    Doug: Gracias, mi hermano

Pete: You Stalker!!! Start posting, it is payback time, now we get to stalk you.

Lisa: Great meeting you. And, I insist, two brands, two prices.

Imran: Thanks for helping with the speakers. Let's find that box and fill it, OK? Let's find what they are buying and give it to them.

Brenton: Officer, I wasn't speeding!!! I'll see you around in L.I. ok?

Arin: Thanks for showing up. You are Hired.

Derek: Read that book, I know you will like it. oh, and find me a bargain, OK?

Michelle: I do believe you are onto something big.

Howard Lndzon: Thanks for reminding me that the internet/web is just 1 day old. Sometimes I forget that and get to think that everything has already been invented.

John Chang: Thanks for your presentation. Great food for thought.

Casey: I am impressed by your business model and your expertise is great, thanks for sharing.

Default Re: My 2009 B&P Thank you note

Well, as a week has passed since the meetup, I started thinking of how I could help others in some way. I think I've had great opportunities in my life, while others just need a little help to make it.

A common theme in the conversations was about giving back.

We all here have seen the Kiva thread
    http://www.thefastlanetomillions.com...-kiva-org.html

I decided I could help a little bit again by making two more loans to entrepreneurs around the world.

This is just my simple way of saying Thanks.
    Thanks for the opportunities.
    Thanks for the friendship.
    The networking.
The entrepreneurial spirit we all share here.

The two small loans I made were:

Kiva - Mujeres Luchando Por el Progreso Group

    Kiva - Amistad Group

So, here goes my solicitation speech...

    If you enjoyed the meetup
and you feel entrepreneurship is the solution
and you can spare $25 to help others
and decided that, instead of giving that away, you rather lend so they can grow on their own

Then Please donate to an entrepreneur. Any. It does not matter. You are part of the solution by doing this, I really believe it.

And remember, there is a kiva fastlane group, so you can donate as part of this group if you want.
