    Default Any Facebook Pros?

I don't spend a lot of time on Facebook and I can't figure out how to get my "Boxes" tab to show. I clicked "Hide" or "Remove" sometime ago and I can't get the tab back? I did search and didn't find anything. Anyone have any ideas?

You should be able to click the plus sign button to the right or your "Wall," "Info," "Photos," and "Notes" tabs. The drop-down will show what options you can display. "Boxes" should be one of them.

Are you running any non-FaceBook apps on your account? They aren't bound by the same privacy rules as FB, so be careful.

I did that ... there is no boxes as an option. And I'm running nothing non-standard.

Hmm... What is it that you are hoping to be shown in the "Boxes" tab? I personally don't have one, and I thought it was because I don't run any apps. I thought boxes was an overflow place to display apps. Maybe you removed an app recently and thus the "need" for boxes?

My boxes hold my photo albums. I couldn't see anything to restore it if it was removed.

Hmm, anything but facebook and I could help. I actually do not like facebook's layout and UI, and have never used it since first checking it out, contrary to popular recomendations! lol

Have a second look, because the whole layout and UI just changed, much to the chagrin of longtime users. There's no arguing with the 100M+ unique users and the fact that MySpace is no longer the head honcho in the SN game.

I use Facebook to manage traditional contacts, business contacts, and sales leads.

Still no boxes. I accidentally hit remove and now it won't come back. Frustrating .....

I looked into this again, MJ, and I think "Boxes" is designed as a place to keep extraneous apps. You can keep standard apps in there too, but once you remove non-Facebook apps, the boxes option goes away.

    Try this:
Get a new app or two. When/ if the boxes tab shows back up, move the apps you want over there. Then remove the new apps.

Really, though, what is it you are trying to do? Maybe there's a work-around that doesn't involve boxes.

MJ! I figured it out. Your boxes have been there all along. They are stacked along the left margin of your profile. To make a Boxes tab, you just have to click the pencil (edit) icon in the box you wish to move and select the "Move to Boxes tab" option. Ta-dah!

The "Move to Boxes" tab didn't exist. I got the boxes back by hitting "Applications" (lower left corner) and adding apps. Thanks for all the help!!
