I do believe that certain things happen to you without you having any control over it:
country of origin, family you were born in, race, when you were born.
These greatly influence where you're going to be. Some people are just born at the right time, from the right family with perfect timing when it comes to opportunities.
Jayden was killed two years ago by his mother's boyfriend, drowned in their bathtub. He was only 4 years old. I am sure if he was asked how long he'd have liked to live, he'd have said, 100 years.
So to a certain level, I have an External locus.
But I believe in hard work, and taking, and changing your situation.
So, I am on the 60/40 range.

"Fate" has never made sense to me, but I do flip coins from time to time when it's a small decision that doesn't necessarily affect the rest of my life, i.e. tacos or pasta for dinner, just for fun.
