Thread: Fastlane 2k challenge

The goal of this contest is to see if members can take $50 in cash or assets and earn $2,ooo in a month.

Here are the Rules:


To begin with you can sell, trade, or utilize anything up to a value of $50 (you can use existing assets such as websites as long as you subtract monthly expenses from the $50).

You should outline the steps you take as you earn money. Specifics aren't required unless you want to give them. Bullet points will work. If you want to take screen shots or pictures of your endeavors then please black out your personal account information.

You don't have to limit yourself to $2k.

You may enlist outside help IF they agree, but you cannot ask for money.

The winner will be determined by who has accrued the most cash at the end of the month. In addition, a vote will be taken by the forum as to who had the most creative ideas and implemented them.

Those interested in joining please sign up by Friday the 27th 11 pm. central time (U.S.) The contest begins the next morning (Saturday).

I moved the sign up deadline to Friday, May 27th. It will start this Sat. and will end on Sunday, June 26th at 9 pm.

what other assets are we allowed to use besides the $50?

for instance, I have a website that is horrible in the serps and never earned me a dime. Can I put the $50 toward promoting that, or do I need to figure in the value of the established site?

in other words, are we starting from complete 0 plus $50 and our networks, or can we use our current resources?

You can use your current resources such as a website. The idea is to use what you have immediately available up to a value of $50. However, if you use the website, you should count it as an expense by subtracting one month of hosting fees. $50 minus the fee.

one more question(i like to know the rules before I break them): I have a $100 adsense coupon that I was going to let expire. The only thing I would use it for is this, so does it count as $0 since I would otherwise be not using it

If it's not an out of pocket expense, then use it.
