But this is just another CLASSIC example of how our society has socialized us into over consumption and chasing material garbage.
"Whoever spends the most is the winner!" or "Joe blow has 3 yachts!" or "Sally sue has 2 planes!" or "Look at how much they spend wow!"

Seriously I think this is one of the many reasons so many people fall for the keeping up with the joneses plaque. They think they need this garbage or else they are not important or successful. They finance the 50k car, they rack up the credit at Nordstrom etc.

Financial freedom is meaningful. Everything beyond that is a pissing contest.

Yeah good motivation, but like you guys said, I want the freedom of being wealthy first. Everything else like the toys etc. are secondary.

Wow, they are material, but great to put your desires into perspective. Money is GREAT.
