For so many people work life is a curse, many people see work as a form of slave trade and cant stand their jobs which I can understand. All managers push and push to see how hard your willing to work before the inevitable "loose your rag moment"
I have had a few jobs and I am only 24, I have had some bad luck in loosing them, and at other times the excitement of telling a rude and obnoxious manager to go stuff it, got the best of me.
I have been out of work for the last 6 months and during this time I have read a few books and excercised as much as possible. It also became clear to me that the only reason, and I mean the "only" reason why I have not been successful or happy in any of these jobs was because of a lack of clear dreams.
I have always believed I will be wealthy but never really had a clear visualisation of how or what it was that would make me wealthy. I am hoping to start work again very soon in Walmart (ASDA), the money is not great, nore is the work, on the plus side of things, I wil be earning about £800 a month for 4 days a week.
This might not seem like a lot of money, but for me in this current situation it feels like a dream. In 6 months time I will have £3600 saved up, I will be living off very little and riding my bike to work to save costs as well as eating home cooked rice and eating fruit.
I intend to start my own graphics design/website building company, as well as test the waters with affilate marketing and online advertising but in more practical terms rather than in theory. I have not even been able to afford a domain name, hence why I mention this.
All the unemployment days in my life has truly been a blessing, yes at times I found myself depressed, unmotivated and generally unhappy. But and a big BUT, I have also done alot of reading, I have taught myself how to build websites, how to code PHP, HTML, as well as graphic design.
It has taught me discipline that I have never had, taught me to be patient in life, and gave me time to reflect on what it is I really want. If you can teach yourself to be happy with nothing, you can achieve anything in this world.
Therefore I can safely conclude that a Job is a blessing, I dont care how many bills one has to pay, or how they have to get to work, or what they have to do at work to get their monthly cheque, every person in this working world can and should save some money.
Take it from me, if you are in work and complaining, STOP! There are many people in this world who cant even get a job, not because they are lazy, but because they have no experience, no education, and simply put are unemployable. Be thankful for your job, you make of your pay what you desire.
My best advice to the working people of today, is to keep smiling and invest all spare change in yourself! Yourself is your wealth!
Kno thyself!
