I found something very interesting as I was surfing a PC Forum, . . .

This guy was trying to explain how he was fed up with noises in the community,
mostly Sirens, Emergency's, Police and Fire, while the readers began posting
replies, basically putting the guy through the ringers, and eventually,
one reader starting implying he had mental problems.

In any case I was a little sympathetic with the poor guy, I mean
I experience a lot of this in especially.beeping trucks, that beep
when they are in reverse.When spring comes to my neck of the
woods, the construction moves in, and you can forget about
hearing song birds for about three months, the summer comes
and I'm at the shore. The noise clears out until after September,
then it all starts up again until the zero freeze comes in.

So, anyway in the last post the guy turns out to be an inventor of
some sort, and post the following, . . .

" As a Matter of Fact I once envisioned an Emergency system where automobile radios came on whether they were turn off or not, if they for example were in a broadcast area, (like in cell phones), and reported an impending situation, like an ambulance or fire truck coming your way.
I also spent some time on toll bridge plans for the same reason ! "


The, "Emergency System", mentioned here appears to be a, "break-through" concept,
in other words, "a cellular activated automobile signal and emergency broadcast system", which I would consider is a thing that is badly needed.

It seems like this person has envisioned something that definitely proposes a gigantic future !
