I've gotten to the point where I view "money" as nothing but mirages of paper that appear as digital pixels in the form of a number on a computer screen. At some point I fear, that number will mean nothing as will the paper for which it represents.

Probably because most dropouts don't dropout to pursue a dream --- they drop out so they can be lazy, get high and sit on the couch all day and play Call of Duty.

Once you spend years nurturing a business from infancy to full-blown, it isn't very easy to let it go and just forget about it. When your kids hit 18 and move out of the house, does that mean your job (or interest) in them is over? Not really.

I assume that you are making real carbon fiber parts, not carbon fiber looking parts? To answer your question, I wouldn't replace my interior with it. But I've seen many cars with the carbon fiber interior. I don't know if they were real or not.

The EV on the ticket is actually positive, but yea, I wouldn't waste a few hours to get a ticket, only if it takes seconds, max, a minute. Perhaps they ordered tomatoes on their bacon double cheeseburger while stopping at McDonalds on the way? Surely that counts as some improvement.
