Default Hey everyone. looking for some advice

Hey guys, im looking for some advice on investing my money. I saved up a good chunk of cash during my deployment and its sitting in my fidelity account right now. ill be home in a month and looking for an aggressive stock or reit to put some of my money into. I've been doing some research the past week but it seems like most stocks are at high points right now, and i'm really not sure if the trend will continue so im a bit weary of putting my money into it now, or possibly waiting for a large drop. I'm looking at healthcare companies, mortgage companies, and reit's. So what do you guys think about these sectors and would you say now is a bad time to buy stock? simply I want to buy low sell high, which makes reits, and mortgage companies look promising if real estate prices rise. Sorry if you wanted to gouge your eyes out reading this.. i'm still learning, and wont let my money sit at .02 interest, I want to take risks. I'd greatly appreciate your valued input and opinion.

Start a Fastlane business. It sounds to me like (1) you're leaving the military after deployment and (2) you don't wanna work a job.

If you are leaving, then what you need to do is go live somewhere very cheaply. All you really need is a room with a bed, shower, Internet connection, electricity and a kitchen, a phone, and a gym membership. Depending on where you live you can live off of less than $1000 a month. Use whatever money you have to start a business. Doesn't really matter what kind of business as long as it's Fastlane and feasible within your budget with the money you have.

Spend every waking hour either eating, working out, reading, or working on your business.

Forget the ideas about stocks and REIT bonds or whatever. Just my opinion

Appreciate the input man. I've read a lot on here of others fastlane business's and its awesome to watch others become successful and watch them grow on here.
i'm working on a plan for my fastlane business(RE) but until i venture into that i want to invest some of my money, i hate watching it sit in the bank doing NOTHING. I've bought a decent amount of silver, but that's just too conservative for me right now. and ifeel like there are great oppurtunites in REIT's and real estate in general right now.

Find out for yourself, put in your homework, it's your money. Who else can care about it more than you? If you don't find out, let it sit there earning nothing, better than getting into something you know nothing about and losing a ton fast.
Winning is not found in the prize, winning is found in the doing.
