    Default Stock Investing

Hi guys, I just read the book about MJ tells about buy and hold strategy is dead. He said he opened Roth IRA in 1997 with $1,000 and ten years later it worth $698. I think buy and hold still works in a certain market. Stocks didn't growth in US because companies growth is little. You should be investing in abroad where the growth is still high although currently we are having issues with Europe debt. If you can grow your company or business 30% a year, why not there be a stock that can grow 30% a year. This decade belong to Asia where nations still grows. When it reach the limit the next decade might belong to Africa.

    Welcome to the forum.

In my opinion, not buying and holding isn't necessarily written in stone; it's just not recommended... for very obvious reasons.
