Thread: what is next after ...

what do all you think is the next big thing after the internet? the internet has drastically changed our lives in one way or another and will continue to do so for the coming years but what is next? Random thought. I wanted to get all of your viewpoints.

Virtual reality... when technology becomes good enough to really simulate yourself into the game. I expect 2035'ish.

And life extension therapy, but that's like in 2050-2060 before society will see any of this. Once it's out there, every rich man in the world will buy it, since they would be fools not too. Unfortunately anyone over age 40 is likely not to see it.
