Hi Joe!
Finally you are on this forum!![]()
Do you offer exclusivity to a particular area? It's been three years since I've worked in that industry, but $400 per lead seems very high. Do you have paying customers?
Right now we are exclusive to pool service, but are expanding soon to other areas. This was actually a Beta-Test to see if we could sell leads at that rate, and the answer is Yes! we can, with a guarantee behind it of course. The leads are easily worth $400, because monthly pool service leads are worth thousands of dollars to them if they turn around and sell the route, they make back there money in roughly 3 months, which is the length of our guarantee. So it's a good deal for them actually. They only pay if they ACTUALLY get business, which is why paybylead is a little deceiving, you don't pay per lead, but really per monthly pool service contract acquired. We have since changed the name to PayPerPool.com, but nothing is there yet, but it will be there later. I had 5 paying customers during the Beta test, some who purchased multiple leads (as much as 5 at once). In about 2 months I plan to go live with PayPerPool.com once things are live and back in working order. Appreciate the thoughts!
Regards,
- Joe
I like PayPerPool. The three month minimum guarantee makes it worth it in my opinion. What does the average pool service cost in most areas? I think we charged somewhere around $60/hr? Also, I would bet that the majority of new customers will need more work done initially in order to get the pH, alkalinity, calcium and chlorine levels to their recommended ranges. It's easier once everything is balanced. The guarantees you provide seem very well planned. I like it. If I can get a hold of the service guy I worked with, I'll shoot him your URL.

Welcome to the forum mate.
Thanks guys! I'm really looking forward to it. I still need to finish reading the book, but a lot of what I read is actually what has happened to me already to get to the point I'm at now. I'm excited to be a part of the forum and hope to contribute where I can. Thanks for the welcome.

Nice! So you've still only read the first three chapters?
