Default Time to make the change that I've always felt I was meant for-

    Hello fellow fastlaner's!

I just signed up and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Nate and I am from Cleveland, OH. I just graduated from OSU last March and am now working as an IT Specialist at a small company. I love the work, weeks fly by for me, and don't fret too much when Monday's come; although it would be nice for everyday to be Saturday.

I'm about 2/3's the way through the fastlane book and it is an amazing read that has opened my eyes in so many ways. Thank you MJ!

This might so strange, but ever since I can remember i've always felt like I was meant for something more, something big, and to change the lives of people around the world. As the "Lamborghini" is MJ's icon of wealth and success, it is the same to me; the Lamborghini means so much more than being just a car IMO. My long-term goal is to be able to purchase a Lamborghini not for the "cool" factor but to be an icon for society, and mainly to inspire younger generations that they too can one day have something like this if they only break free from the chains of the norm.

M-F 40 hours a week just doesn't cut it. Of course being underpaid and constantly not having enough hours in a day I am trying to develop a fastlane idea. Small business ideas are one thing, but a fastlane idea is not arriving so quickly.

The wife and I are just getting ready to buy are first home and she for the most part is on the train with me, however not to the full extent that I am. However she understands and agrees with the hole modern day slavery job aspect.

It's great to be here and I am glad I found this book and forum.

You are in shared company. I am 21, recently married, great job but can't help but agree with MJ about it being better to be young and retired rather than wrinkled and retired. Welcome to the forum!

Just one thing to consider, buying a home will be time and money sink (never ending projects from the wifey). If that can be postponed for awhile until you can pay for it with revenue from your new venture it might be a good idea. Many times when the responsibilities pile up, it gets even harder to break away from a paycheck. Something to think about and good luck!

Welcome to the forum. It's nice to see a fellow Ohioan here. I'm not too far from you if you ever want someone to bounce ideas off of. Good luck on any new ventures and the house.
