Thread: Hello from Southern California

Hi from sunny SoCal!

I'm looking to achieve financial freedom and love the principles that MJ discusses in his book. Finally, a book about how to DO things to be successful rather than just thinking about them.

I am in a position that many others might envy, but am struggling to find satisfaction. I am in the family business, which makes performance automotive parts for weekend racers and car enthusiasts. Lots of people are "car guys," but I'm not one of them. As a result I'm not motivated to work hard to grow this business - although we do have a differentiated, superior product versus the competition.

I've been dabbling in real estate investing on the side, doing some fix+flips as well as buy+hold in my spare time.

I'm always on the lookout for a business opportunity where I can exhibit my passion and achieve financial freedom in a few years. I look forward to participating in the discussions here.
