Hello to all. I'm a huge Mixergy fan and when MJ's interview was posted I immediately found the book on Amazon and ordered a copy from the publisher (they got the best price). My goal from this forum is to add another dimension to my fastlane education - apart from what I get from sites like Mixergy. Trying to keep more positive winds in my sails and good company in my circle.

I currently work from home, I am my own boss. Like MJ, everyday feels like a Saturday to me, except I still have to work for my income - usually after I feed my 2 year old daughter her breakfast and play with her a bit. I get to raise my child because I put "freedom" as the key motivation for being wealthy. I'm blessed that I keep my lifestyle to a minimum and thus I expand the amount of freedom I'm afforded. Many of the folks I'm around (Friends and family) cannot relate to this lifestyle. I feel that I'm on the cusp of reaching MJ levels of freedom and income. His book could not have come at a better time.

I hope to meet and interact with many of you in the hopes of sharing the wisdom, book lists, tricks and lessons that will lead us all to more freedom and income.

Thanks MJ for the book and the forum. Peace!

Awesome, you are half-way home because you already have substantial freedom.

Very wise ..

Welcome to the forum. :tiphat:

Thanks for the reply!

I believe I received my clarity from the "Lead the Field" CDs by Earl Nightingale. The question boiled down to "Why do you REALLY want a Million Dollars?" Most people think wealth will solve problems, buy them love, toys, etc. For me I reached the conclusion that Freedom will grant me all of those things, the wealth was only the means. With this clear focus I knew that I would own the money, the money will never own me. From that day forward, with my focus on Freedom, life has gotten exponentially sweeter.

I enjoy the Fastlane book and your use of formulas and equations to break down seemingly complicated concepts into bite-size portions - with the elegance of Einstein's E=MC2. Can't wait to see how you follow this one up. Thanks again for your time!

here is the link to the interview for anyone who hasn't watched it yet.

Umm... That websites seems a little... well... overpriced. I like the concept, but I can find most of that content for free on other websites. Also, do I pay for services, and then listen to an advertisement to begin with? Paying seems like a slow-lane mentality. I'll find the info elsewhere.

Yea, Mixergy started out free for a long time. Then he moved to having certain content that you had to pay for. Now pretty much everything you must be a premium customer to view.

Im not really one to argue business practices with someone whose been as successful as he has, but it seems like a odd move. From what I can tell there is nothing new to the site. No new value to make paying for it worth it. It seems like a risk because hes trying to get people to now pay for the same content they got free for so long while adding no new value.
